HEAT EMBOSSED SERVIETTE CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Sorry I have not been around for a few days, but I have been making my Granddaughter's Wedding card.
Was having big troubles with the colour peach she chose for the Bridesmaids Dresses as I do like to incorporate that colour into my finished design.
So I had to colour most of my card with Peach Bellini Ink, and then wait for it to dry before constructing my design as it's pearlised card.
I am quite pleased with how it turned out, and will show it later this week as I know she doesn't know about my blog.

Today I have a card that has been Heat Embossed

This is a 6"x6" size card.
The design was a serviette that Mary my dear blogging friend sent me with her candy I won last year.
I started by putting a double sided sticky sheet behind the serviette, and then I put a snippet of card on the reverse of it, so I will join my playground friends in the Snippets Playground with this.
I then  used a Versa Mark clear embossing ink all over the front of  it, and then added Holographic Embossing Powder to it and heat embossed it.
Was quite pleased with how it turned out as this was my first attempt at this type of crafting.

Thank you so much for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges.

Hello stranger, thank your lovely welcome back to Blogland.
I just LOVE what you have done on your card, might have to have a go at that technique.
I have managed to get my photos on some Google thingy and it seems to be working ... so far anyway.

Stunning card Jenny, love the idea of using a serviette, this is so very pretty, made a special card.
Have you ever tried using your PC for getting a colour for card making, I use Greeting card factory or MCS, if I`m struggling and dont have a ink colour..
works brilliant.

Hi Jenny
Wowsers! This looks incredible. The sparkle looks amazing and what a beautiful napkin. Must look out for some fancy ones.
Dare say, you have to be careful heating something so delicate and on double side sticky. I may need to put the fire brigade on standby lol!
Best wishes.

Oh my word Jenny, this is drop dead gorgeous!! The concept behind this card is both brilliant in it's simplicity and glorious in it's result!! Love the use of a designer napkin as the base, and the fantastic layer of glitter over top creates the look of a work of art that you would see in a fancy art museum!! I am blown away by this my friend!! Beautiful!! sending hugs :)

Oh my the sheen on the front of this card is awesome. I've used serviettes on card fronts before but not using this technique. I think I have some holographic embossing powder too. Hugs Mrs A.
