" BIRTHDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE "

Good morning dear friends.
It's Sunday morning again hasn't this week flown by.
I hope you all had a really great Saturday, and you managed
to get some crafting done.
THANK YOU for all your lovely comments on my creations.
I am so thrilled with them all.
I have a new follower, so welcome Marie-Louise to my blog
and thank you for becoming a follower.

My card today is one I just made for the Fab "n" Funky
Birthday Sketch Challenge.
So here it is.

Here is a close up of the image.

The ingredients for this card is.
2 A5 Cards glued together to form a double fronted card.
I then used a craft knife to take cut the front of both sides.
I covered my card with some paper from my stash.
Glued both sides together to make pocket for the verse
card to go in.
I glued some lace all the way round the card including
the v shape.
On top of the v I glued some lace flowers and put some
flat back pearls on top.
Then I used a free digi image from the internet.
Coloured in with Promarkers.
I cut the image with the Spellbinders Grand Scolloped
Oval, added a butterfly and some pearly hearts from my
stash.
I hope you like it.
Thank you again for your precious time visiting my blog.
Have a great crafty Sunday everyone.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny.

  9. Hi Jenny - I'm back to my usual rude health and blogging again. Glad that I am because I love your card. It is gorgeous. I love the brightness of it - one of those 'happy' cards if you see what I mean.

My entry was finished today but hubby is going to photograph it shortly. I'll post it tomorrow probably.

Thanks for your kind words on my blog - they really cheered me up.

Hugs to you Sue P xx

  12. Hello dear blogfriend
This is such an adorable image and your colouring is so sweet. It reminds of a little picture I had when I was a little girl.
I'm sorry to say and hope you'll forgive my honesty, but I am not a fan of the background card with the brightly coloured lace. For me it is too busy, but that is just my opinion and we must all be different or the world would be a boring place.
Hope you are well. Hugs Linda xx
