PINK PATTERNED WELLIES

Good evening dear blog friends and visitors.
I hope you are all keeping well and haven't been plagued with
the nasty virus that's going around.
My Dad caught it before Christmas, and at the age of 93 is finding
it very hard to shake off, but hopefully he is on the mend now.
My dear sister Wendy who lives near him has been looking after
him.
She is such a treasure and so is my brother in law Gary who both
go out of there way to take really good care of him.

THANK YOU for all your comments on my work.
I know I say this on most posts, but I really do appreciate your
visit and comments,  especially when I know all of you are such busy people and have your own blogs to run.

My card this evening is another one made for a lady in my little
club I run.
It is made with Hunkydory card which was kindly sent to me
with the magazine, by Elaine Wheeler. Thank you again Elaine.

Now the inside.

This is a 6x6 size card.
Made with Hunnkydory Card  and topper.
The die cuts are all Spellbinders.
The flowers are a mixture of Dovecraft and ones from Wild
Orchid Crafts.
I don't know if you can see, just behind the center of the front
die cut a lovely piece of webbing in the same colour this was
sent to me by my wonderful blog matey Sue. Thank you Sue.
Thank you all again for your visit.
May you have a wonderful crafty day tomorrow.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

  3. Fabulous wellies (I could wear them myself!) and a great card. I hope your dad picks up soon Jenny. It seems to have been a very nasty virus and obviously at his age it is not easy to shake off, as you say. Christine x

  7. Beautiful wellies Jenny and a beautiful design, your inside is fab, I love it, can't really read the sentiment, but as it's for a special friend it must say something lovely and thoughtful.

Hope your dad gets better soon, these viruses fairly knock the stuffing out of you, thankgoodness for your sister though, gives you an easier mind. Take care, kate x

  13. Hi Jenny, A beautiful card, lovely colours and love the 'wellies', also the ribbon threaded through the die-cut is gorgeous, hope the recipient loves it.
I really hope your Dad is feeling better soon, I can certainly sympathise, I started with a virus 7 weeks ago, then a racking cough, and I keep getting the virus back and have still got the cough 7 weeks later, it is just so exhausting. I think we need a really cold snap to kill off all the 'bugs', although I don't like snow, except on cards and postcards ha ha, so I hope it misses us.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  14. Good afternoon Jenny,
Hope your dad is on the mend, not so easy to shift that sort of thing at this time of year.
I am so late commenting on your beautiful card.
I love how you have used the Die this really appeals to me.
Wellies are beautiful, I might just need mine which are not quite so pretty. The forecast is not that good for this area hopefully it might not come to much.
However this is the time we usually get out "Winter Snow"
    Hugs

    Patricia xx
