Hi and welcome to cardsarus blog spot My name is Jenny Lawrence and I live in Kent. My dear and wonderful husband Tony passed away in March 2019 We had been married for 36 years. I also lost my first Husband to the big C when I was quite young. I have 3 children and 3 stepchildren. 12 Grandchildren and 5 Great Granddaughters and 3 Great Grandsons. I have been card making for about 25 years. I have made things all my life as my Mum and Grand Mother taught me lots of hobbies. I have made my own clothes, knitted garments, hand embroidered items of clothing, and crocheted items too. I love to bake my own cakes as well.

MY VERSION OF THE ORIGAMI BOX

Today I have my version of the origami box 
that was shown on few of my blog friends blogs.

I have used double sided 12x12 thin card.
The smallest of the Spellbinders Grand 
Scolloped Squares, and some other Square Dies
for the layering.
I added some lace, butterflies, flower stones,
organza ribbon, ribbon roses, and a paper rose
to the top.

    I was looking forward to seeing yours after you looked at mine. . . . . . that doesn't sound right does it lol !
    I've done a couple more as I think they're fab. One of them has a flower on top instead of the ribbon to pull it open.
    Love the colours you have used. Very bright on what has been a dull day.

  10. What a stunning origami box. I just love the colours you've used. Your embellishments are just gorgeous! Wish I could afford some nice flowers like those they are beautiful and really finish it off!
    I've never heard of a printer that comes with continuous ink that would save a fortune lol.
    I borrowed my sisters printer in the end as I was inpatient and couldn't wait lol.
