AUTUMNAL OWL CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends,
and visitors.
Thank you soooooooo! much for all your good
wishes about my eye op.
I have decided to listen to music and listening
books while having to do the posture thing for
5 days, that should take away the boredom. lol.

Thank you also for all your really kind comments
on my last card.
I have had a commission come in for 2 Wedding
Cards and Boxes, and also a Golden Wedding
Anniversary Card and Box.
So I am eager to get these finished in case I get
called in for the op, so excuse me if I miss
commenting on your super creations at some
time in the next week or so.

My card today is an Autumnal Card.

Now the inside.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
The paper used was from a few lovely snippets
of paper that I inherited from my Aunt after she
passed away. I just copied the small piece so I
could use it inside my card, because you know
how I love to  have the inside to match.
The owl is a Tattered Lace Die I bought at
Hobbycraft last week, I saw it and had to have
it, as you do. lol.
I made my rosette with my Hougie Board.
The ribbon and leaf charm I won on a blog
hop last year.

Thank you again for your visit.
I hope you all have a wonderful crafty day.
Anyone not feeling to well at this moment, I
am sending big Get Well wishes, and hugs,
your way.
Lots of love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this card into the following
challenges.

  1. Hello there me little matey! I saw the die but hadn't realised just how beautiful it was until I saw your gorgeous card!!! Your papers are perfect for the scene! I needed to look more closely so I opened it up in another tab and noticed the edge of the rosette - how lovely! Must ask you what is in the middle of the rosette though - it looks very 'antiquey'!!

Glad you have decided on a few things to do while you are 'in the position'!

Big hugs to you my friend

  8. OMG!! Jenny, I am so sorry I have been rushing to get comments in on my favourite Blogs that I have missed reading about your eye op. My friend had that done last year and was great success. She found the leaning over a bit of a pain but said it was not nearly as bad as she thought it would be. Her eye is wonderful and sees so clearly out of it. It also looks really bright and clear.
Loving everything about your stunning card.....what about those eyes!!!!
Sorry about the "pun" but his eyes are great
    Hugs
