Hi and welcome to cardsarus blog spot My name is Jenny Lawrence and I live in Kent. My dear and wonderful husband Tony passed away in March 2019 We had been married for 36 years. I also lost my first Husband to the big C when I was quite young. I have 3 children and 3 stepchildren. 12 Grandchildren and 5 Great Granddaughters and 3 Great Grandsons. I have been card making for about 25 years. I have made things all my life as my Mum and Grand Mother taught me lots of hobbies. I have made my own clothes, knitted garments, hand embroidered items of clothing, and crocheted items too. I love to bake my own cakes as well.

MORE BROOCHES

Hi and welcome.
Thank you for all your get well wishes.
Still in a great deal of pain and resting as much as I can.
I find when I am typing I am in a great deal of pain.
So here are some more brooches I have made,
before I got ill.

  2. You poor little matey! This really is hanging on for you but I'm so glad you had these pics to post for us to look at. I love all of your brooches, but my fave is the last one with the blue velvet ribbon and lace. Very vintage looking (bit like moi)!

  8. So sorry to hear you are still in much pain Jenny. I really do hope it eases for your soon as it is not much fun when it's 24/7.
    They are all beautiful Jenny but I especially love the third one - beautiful, I love the colours you have used and the texture. Not only will they look good on cards or boxes but will be beautiful on a jacket, I do adore that blue one Karen xx
