ANNIVERSARY CARD

Hi and welcome to my little crafty corner.
Thank you sooooooo! much for all your wonderful comments on my last card.
I really do appreciate every one.

I have stopped feeling so sorry for myself as there
are poor people out there far worse off than me.
So I gave myself a good telling off, and that did
the trick.

My card today is for my Sister and Brother in Laws Anniversary.
I can safely show it as they don't have the internet.
Now they have just bought a static caravan, sited
at the Gower, Nr Swansea, and I thought this
image just right for them.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The caravan image is from the Hunkydory
Decoupage Pad.
The papers were printed from an old Crafters
Companion CD.
I cut the bunting myself as I don't have a die
for this.
Heart shaped buttons from The Works.
I used quite a few snippets in this to stamp my
sentiment on, and the circle die cuts I cut out
for another project and didn't use them.
So I'm off to get the keys to the playground, and
enter their challenge.

Thank you again for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following
challenges.

  13. Morning Jenny, I'm so glad you are feeling more upbeat today, it is so easy to get bogged down with everything when we get anxious, here's hoping our positive thoughts for you have helped !!

  14. I LOVE this Jenny...sure your Sis and B-i-L will love it too!! Mum and Dad had a static caravan at West Bay (of Broadchurch fame) when I was a little girlie and it looked just like this one, except it was pale blue and cream. The thing I remember the most is Dad lighting the mantle lights with a match at night!! Thanks for the happy memory!! xx

  15. Oh Jenny - what a lovely card! The caravan really takes me back more years than I care to remember :) And the bunting you made is just perfect - you don't need a die for sure!

So glad you're chirpier about the driving - things change over time and we have to adjust. I'm still trying to reconcile myself to no longer running round as I used to - some mornings I'm just glad to put one foot in front of the other. And, as one commenter pointed out, think of the savings - even using taxis I bet you're on a winner!!

Great to see you in the Playground!

    Hugs, Di xx

  22. Just saw your win over at Pixie's Place, and couldn't remember if I'd congratulated you! Additionally got to enjoy this so cute card with the RV. Your folks will love it since it shows their new 'hobby' and it is so colorful and adorable. Great trims with the tiny hearts & banners, and what a lovely idea to personalize the interior with their names. Bet it will be displayed very prominently in their new home too! TFS & Hugs
