Hi and welcome to cardsarus blog spot My name is Jenny Lawrence and I live in Kent. My dear and wonderful husband Tony passed away in March 2019 We had been married for 36 years. I also lost my first Husband to the big C when I was quite young. I have 3 children and 3 stepchildren. 12 Grandchildren and 5 Great Granddaughters and 3 Great Grandsons. I have been card making for about 25 years. I have made things all my life as my Mum and Grand Mother taught me lots of hobbies. I have made my own clothes, knitted garments, hand embroidered items of clothing, and crocheted items too. I love to bake my own cakes as well.

MY ROSE CARD

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land, all my
craft loving friends, and visitors.
Than you kindly for your visit, wonderful comments, and your precious time.

Now I have been having a lot of trouble making
roses lately, and while I was looking at Patricia's
blog, last week she showed some magnificent 
Roses she had made, so I thought I would invest
in the same die.
You can find her blog HERE and her beautiful Roses.
Here is what I came up with, so thank you
Patricia for the inspiration.




 This is a 8"x8" size card, made from A3 PMD
card.
The Rose is made with the Susan's Garden large
Roes Die.
My design behind the rose is the heart from
Tattered Lace Chantilly Heart Corner.
I used some white snippets from my snippets
box for some of the die cuts.
So I will join the playground with this.

    Excellent, well done Jenny, I love it.
    Your card is stunning, your Rose a beautiful colour.
    I love using that Die, makes a BIG Rose and a beautiful one.
    SB do a very similar Die which is nice for a smaller version. Quite "fiddley" to made up if you have dexterity problems. They are selling them on C&C as the 4 day. They are very small though.
