BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my very talented
friends and visitors.
May I say a big welcome to my newest follower,
and thank you so much for choosing to follow me.
I do hope you return to see what I am up to as
often as you can.

Sorry I have not been about commenting for a
few days, I have been having difficulty with my
Browser.
I did not heed the warning my DH always uses
if it's not broken don't try to mend it.
Well I kept getting a pop up saying my Firefox
was out of date, but it was working fine, so I
updated it not heeding my DH warning, and it
has been giving so much jib, that DH is going
to uninstall it, later today.

Well on to my card for today, this was made for
a lady who used to come to my club I used to
run, as I was asked to her surprise Birthday party,
and I thought I would incorporate the Butterfly
Challenge which was to use an embossed
butterfly or butterflies.

This is a 8"x8" size card and a bag I made to
match.
I inked up my Teresa Collins embossing folder
with a yellow pan pastel, which doesn't show in
the photo much.
I used the Sue Wilson Austrian Vienna Die.
The flower I made a few months ago and never
used this one.
I dry embossed, and heat embossed my
butterflies out of some snippets card.

Thank you for your visit, time, and the wonderful
comments you make on my work.
Lots of crafty love.
I would like to enter this into the following
challenges.

  1. Good morning Jenny,,
Another of your wonderful cards and bags, love them.

I kept getting messages telling me I had exceeded my e-mail limit which they stated was a huge amount . I don't get that many so just ignored it, all fine so far anyway.
    Have a great day

  16. Morning Jenny, Fabulous !! A beautiful, summery, card today, it has brightened up my day. The weather here is dank, wet and cold, and this card has given me a 'lift'. It is fabulous !!
Update on the Brother ScanNCut, I ordered mine yesterday morning, after I watched Melanie stamp an image and cut it out and then she cut an intricate 'urn' out of the G45 patterned paper, it was magnificent, so that convinced me. My hubby, like yours, is really lovely, giving me this fabulous pressie.
    Have a lovely day.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  21. Now this is truly Sunshine in a beautiful card. Loved the colors & that gorgeous embossing. (outside & IN!). The ribbon bow is a perfect embellishment with the color and those wonderful embossed butterflies. Really did like the way you've coordinated their wing patterns with your background embossing & colors. Great detail. Including that lovely flower. Just noticed you have my blog badge posted in the sidebar, so many thanks! Had to smile at your "if it ain't broke...blah, blah". I'm so guilty of that too. I hope your DH got you working, and you didn't suffer too much 'noise' about that little trick. We all do it. When I get those warnings, my quick impulse is to let it update. Not always the best thing to do. Can't count the times I've wished I had not done it. Just recently with Adobe flash player is my latest faux paux! TFS & Hugs. Yikes, nearly forgot to say I am so in Love with that SW Austrian filigree oval die! Gotta check if I have that one. SWilson is going to break the bank at my house, well, and Crafters Comanion!!!
