Hi and welcome to cardsarus blog spot My name is Jenny Lawrence and I live in Kent. My dear and wonderful husband Tony passed away in March 2019 We had been married for 36 years. I also lost my first Husband to the big C when I was quite young. I have 3 children and 3 stepchildren. 12 Grandchildren and 5 Great Granddaughters and 3 Great Grandsons. I have been card making for about 25 years. I have made things all my life as my Mum and Grand Mother taught me lots of hobbies. I have made my own clothes, knitted garments, hand embroidered items of clothing, and crocheted items too. I love to bake my own cakes as well.

BABY BOY CARD AND BAG

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land all my
talented friends, and visitors.
Did you remember your clocks ?
We have so many that it takes my DH ages to adjust the times as he loves to mend old clocks,
as a hobby, so you can imagine, how many there
are dotted around my house.
He is currently renovating a lovely very old
American shelve clock.

Not nice weather in my part of Kent today, so I
do hope it's better wherever you may live.

Here is my card, and bag I made for my Granddaughter's new baby boy.

The card is a 8"x8" size as usual, and a bag
made to match, out of A3 PMD card stock.
The papers on the card are from Joanna Sheen
Baby Love CD which you can no longer buy.
I also printed out New Baby Arrival cards from
the same CD, which I added to the inside, and on the front of the card.
I put the photo of Ewan behind a frame I bought
from C&C many moons ago in a big set of
chipboard card embellishments.

Thank you for your visit, and the wonderful
comments you make.
I very much appreciate your precious time as I
know time is precious to all of us, especially
those of you that still work, and blog.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

  18. Afternoon Jenny, Wow !! stunning card and bag for the parents of baby Ewan, also loving the inside of the card too, absolutely gorgeous.
My new Great Granddaughter, Sophia Grace, arrived Sunday at 6.23pm weighing 7 lb 1 oz, I can hardly wait for them both to come home so I can have a 'hold', but my Daughter doesn't think they will be home today, she is visiting today at 3pm. My Daughter sent me a piccie by text of her the minute she had been born, so adorable.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  24. A truly wonderful way to celebrate this new precious boy's birth and his parents will be so pleased with this. What an heirloom it will make, and how much he will enjoy it when he's 21 or so! You've done a beautiful job with the card, and how intricate that envelope effect on the interior. Hope your day improved weatherwise. We had some hot sunshine today. Went out for just a short trip to an old JoAnn's store. Didn't bring a stamp block along, so needed one. Not a lot of 'schtuff' in this store...at least not much that was new. I didn't even buy any paper. That's a first for me!!! Did work on coloring an image this afternoon, but hard to get my MoJo cooperating. I'd rather watch some movies on Netflix & Acorn, and also took a nap! Take care, and big hugs - one to Ewan too, when you finally get to cuddle him.
