WEDDING CARD AND BOX

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends,
and visitors.
So sorry I have been missing for a couple of days.
I have had lots of bits of house work to catch up
on, and a small amount of gardening,  to also
catch up on.

My eldest sister in Wales the one that had the op
suddenly also asked me to make her this wedding
card, and box for her Grandson.
So I have just finished it.
On the card are some hand made roses I made
with the help of a wonderful blog friend Pamellia's
UTube Tutorial which you will find HERE.
I didn't have the Tim Holtz flower die she used
so I used my Spellbinders Rose Creation Die,
and you only need one size petal cut 6 times for
the whole rose.

This is a 8"x8" size card and box I made to fit.
I also made the leaves I used on the flower spray
using a method John Lockwood showed on C&C.
I didn't see the program, but I heard some blog
friends talking about how he had done it, so I
had a go.
What I did was the paper I had wet, and
crumpled for the roses I rubbed DI in different
shades of green all over, and then cut out my
leaves from the same Rose Die.
I then added some Fired Brick DI to the top
edges.

Thank you so much for your visit, and the
wonderful comments you make.
It means a great deal to me, and I am so pleased
you like my work.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

    1. I had to put my glasses on and come back so I can see your card again. Your roses are exquisite Jenny and I deeply apologize for not catching that they were handmade the first time I was here. They turned out so well that I just assumed they were from a package!! I may have to invest in the Spellbinders die you used, the petals have such a natural look to them. I appreciate the shout out, you are such a sweetheart and I really appreciate your kind words. Have a wonderful day...ok, I'm taking my glasses back off now. HAHA! hugs :)

  11. Jenny, this is simply breathtaking! I can just imagine the delight of the requester and even more so, the recipient. Those roses are just stunning, (TFS the link also). Love the tattered lace bow at the top, the golden frame, the delicate corners and all the luscious layers. And of course, you make the inside just as gorgeous as the outside. Just a marvelously wonderful card. TFS & Hugs
