BITTERFLY CHALLENGE AND SNIPPETS CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends,
and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, and the
wonderful comments you make.
I love to read everyone, and am so pleased that you have visited me.

Now the Butterfly Challenge No 36 is for you
to use Washi Tape on your entry.
Well can you guess in amongst all my stash I
didn't have any Washi Tape shock horror.
So as it's the last few days before the challenge
finishes, and Ashford in Kent doesn't have a
craft shop anymore I started to panic, and
thought I wouldn't be able to join the challenge
this time, but good old supermarket
Sainsbury's had some in their stationery
department.
So here is what I made.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
I used DI in Milled Lavender, Peacock Feathers,
Yellow Pan Pastel, and a Chalk Box ink in a
peach shade dabbed on white card with a sponge.
Then I sprayed it with a Crafters Companion
Spray and Sparkle Pearl Diamond.
The Washi Tape is behind the butterfly, and I
attached some to some snippets card, and cut
out the corners, and flowers.
My inside circles is a die I won on Bibiana's
Spanish blog when Memory Box were showing
their Autumn Collection.
This is a Halloween Die, but I snipped out the
Halloween parts, and added a circle to the back.

Thank you again for your visit.
I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following
challenges.

  1. Hi Jenny. Love your card. Sorry I have not been able to blog as looking after Andrew is nearly full time now as he cannot use his legs at all. The muscles have gone due to the length of time he has been waiting for new knees. I still hope to get back to blogging , but it takes a bit of time to set everything up. Hope you are both well. Hugs Rita xxx

  7. Hello, Jenny! Good for you for finding some washi tape in your supermarket! I would not have thought to look there! Your card is beautiful! I like your big butterfly and the creative way you used your washi tape. The colours are lovely! I like how you finished the inside as well. So happy to see your card linked up at the Butterfly Challenge! This time the challenge runs for 4 weeks, so you still have 2 weeks left if you would like to use your new washi tape again!

  29. I'm late, I'm late...but I just saw this fab washi butterfly highlighted over at Pixie's and just had to zip over to say how much I like it! Wow, did you ever pull this one out of the hat in such a superlative way! The raised butterfly over the brilliant shades of the tape just made a stunning design. Also liking the little multi-colored posies sprinkled all around it. This is just outstanding! LOVE it! TFS & Hugs
