SNIPPETS CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends,
and visitors.

I would like to welcome my newest follower to
my blog, and thank you so much for choosing to
follow me, I do hope you manage to visit as
often as you can manage it.

I do hope you have all enjoyed the Bank Holiday
in spite of the dreadful weather we are having.
Sorry I have been missing again, but I have been
having a wonderful  weekend with my family.
We had open house at mine on Saturday, and my
DH cooked curries, and I baked for 12 grown ups
and 5 children, and this is just part of our family,
as some were on holiday, and some live too far
away to attend.
So yesterday was spent getting over all the work
involved, and all the cleaning too.
I can tell you we were both too wacked to do it
on Saturday night, but it was great, to all get
together, and enjoy each others company, it was
well worth all the work involved too.

So on to my Snippets Card for this week, so I
can join in the antics at the Playground with my
dear friends.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
Paper is Cuddly Buddly download.
My snippets are the Hunkydory image, and
sentiment, which were left over from a
freebie from  a craft magazine, and the lime
green, and pink die cuts which were cut out
from a XCut Die I bid for and won on EBay,
and I can tell it was a bargain at £2.49.
I decided to edge the image with the die cuts
as I thought it looked nice.

Thank you so much for your visit.
I really do appreciate your time, and the
wonderful comments made.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following
challenges.

  17. Love the combination of pink & green together...so festive & bright. The pretty flower & handbag just spell a lot of fun to me! Of course the prezzie & butterfly just add in more fun. Really cute card - outside & in. Yay for you on scoring the ebay buy too. So glad that you had your family with you to enjoy some good food and love, and hope you get rested up. It's lovely to do this, but takes a lot of work as well...so your recovery time is well deserved. TFS & Big hugs.

  18. Jenny it sounds as if you've had a lovely family weekend, we had lovely weather yesterday but seem to have had the rain all day today.
I love your card, great colour combo and I particularly like the die cut behind your central image, the flowers and leaves are very pretty.
