BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE NO 40 E FOR EMBOSSING AND SNIPPETS PLAYGROUND CHALLENGE

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends,
and visitors.
I do hope you are all keeping well, and for those
a little under the weather big virtual hugs are on
there way to you, to help.

Well I finally got my card done for the Butterfly
Challenge, as I was having one of my bad nights
again, and couldn't sleep.
Decided to go a bit Shabby Vintage style with this.
Now those of you that know me well know I don't
very often do Shabby Vintage cards, it's bit out of
my comfort zone, but I thought I would have a go
as I won the wonderful Butterfly Stamp on the
Snippets Playground last year, and I thought it was
time I used it.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
I distressed the edges with scissors, and then I
used DI Tea Dye on the edges of cream card.
I also letter pressed the music embossing folder
with Tea Dye too.
Stamped the Butterfly, and Butterfly background
inside with Ranger Archival Ink Potting Soil.
I stamped some musical notes with a stamp I
bought at Lidl Supermarket a couple of weeks
ago.
The embossing, and the butterfly were done on
snippets so I will join my friends in the Snippets
Playground for some fun, and games with Miss
Di, and the lovely Parsnip playing monitor, and
making sure we don't get too boisterous. LOL.

Thank you for your visit and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following

  10. Looks to me as though you do Vintage just fine! Love this beautiful win (and congrats on that score too) and he looks perfectly perched on the swirls of that music embossing. Really like the composition of your card, and the swirly way you've cut the panels. The lattice effect of those die cuts that are peeking out at the edges look so pretty, as does the bright little badge you've tucked on there. It's beautiful, as always! Outside and inside. TFS & hugs too.
