Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, and all the wonderful comments that you make.
They do make me so happy that you like what I have created.
Today I have a card I made for my Son's Birthday tomorrow.
Now he is my youngest and becomes 45.
oooooooooo! that makes me feel sooooooooooo! old, but in my mind I still feel so young it's only my old bones that reminds me, and a lot of grey hair.
This is a 8"x8" size card.
The papers are Cuddly Buddly downloaded digi papers.
The image is a Hunkydory one from the little book of decoupage.
I decoupaged the front horse.
I chose this image as my Son used to work as a IT Technical Support Manager for a firm that sent the horse racing links to betting shops.
He now works for the Banking industry.
The Happy Birthday paper was snippets left over from my Grandsons Birthday card so I will join the girls in the snippets playground to see what antics they are getting away with this week.
Thank you again for your visit.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges.

Hi Jenny, a super card, great image and design.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, Damian was 45 last month and I can hardly believe I'm that old, Kate x
Happy Birthday to your son, and had to chuckle at your words. Feel the same here (DD is 48). Love the combination of the prints and those wonderful dimensional letters. Awesome way to use the horse print too, a great design & very masculine too. He will love it! And love that you made it especially for him. TFS &Hugs

Love this Jenny, and not only because it has horses on it!! I love how your cards tell a story relating to the person you made it for. Little Lucy sent me some Hunkydory pages and I have yet to use them yet but they look lovely xx

ReplyDeleteThis is such a wonderful card. I think I may have mentioned on my blog that i come from a very "horsey" family...grew up with equestrian prints everywhere and always a barn of horses.
ReplyDeleteLuckily for me, I am not horse mad (as it would eat into my craft budget...lol) but I seem to make a lot of horse themed cards for everyone else in the family!
This is a lovely image and wonderful card!
