Hi and welcome to everyone that loves to craft, and any visitors that may just land on my blog.
Today I have a card I made yesterday for the current Butterfly Challenge of which the the letter this time around is M for Margins, and or Mint.
Now I struggled with this I must admit, as I didn't have any mint shade card.
Good old inks to the rescue though.
So here is what I came up with.
This is a 8"x8" size card.
I edged the card with a Mint Promarker, and then I inked a butterfly stamp with Cracked Pistachio DI, and stamped all around the margins, and then I put dots between the butterflies with the mint Promarker.
I stamped, and heat embossed a flower with white embossing powder onto white card, and then inked the card with Creative Expressions Fresh Grass Colour Cloud Blending Ink.
My ribbon was coloured with the cloud ink also, and it did turn out Mint, but looks darker on the photo.
Sentiment is a Creative Expressions Stamp.
Thank you so much for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges.

Goodness Jenny! Your butterflies and spots have been inked so well I thought it was a pretty design paper you had found. (Maybe you should go into production!). I love the panels you have built up and then of course the insides finished so perfectly. I love the fabric butterfly and your ribbon bow takes some beating. Thankyou for fluttering by my challenge where your card will be entered twice into the draw. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteHi Jenny, mint is not a shade that I've done for a card, but seeing your stunning result, makes me wonder why not? A beautiful card as always. Janice xx http://Createdbyjan.blogspot.com

ReplyDeleteHi Jenny . . .you're cards always have the WOW factor. I am in awe of them. xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Jenny, I just popped along to your blog to say 'Thank You' after seeing a comment that you've left on Kate's blog about how to to a sticky post, which I had no idea how to do. However, once I arrived here, I had a look at your cards and they are absolutely fabulous so I've just become you latest follower. This card has a clean, fresh look to it and it looks just as beautiful on the inside as it does on the front. I agree with Sarn that it definitely has the 'Wow' factor. Wishing you lots of happy crafting :)X
