A BOOK CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.
Sorry I haven't been about much, but I caught a bug, and haven't been very well the last few days.
Not sure where I got it from, but it has made me feel very tired as well as giving me a temperature also.
I admired a book card on Kathy Clement's blog, HERE and decided to make one similar myself.
Mine isn't as good as Kathy's, but I enjoyed making this.
Sorry this is very picture heavy.

This is 8"x7" in size.
The lovely bird papers were a free download from C&C club wesite.
I started by covering my white book card with coloured paper in a aqua colour.
I then inked the edges with Peacock Feathers DI.
I added my other papers and also inked them.
Then I decorated it with bird images, and decoupaged the front bird.
Lastly I added gold gilding wax to the edges to give it and old look.

Thank you for your  visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges.
