NEWS PRINT FLOWER TAG

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
I am back today with a tag I made to join in the Allsorts Challenge.
I also used some snippets of crochet lace, and my news print flower is from snippets also.
So I will be joining my good friends in the playground of the Pixie's Snippets Challenge with this.
Miss Di is away this week, and the lovely Jane is standing in for her.
So thank you very much for helping Miss Di out this week Jane.

This tag is 6"x4" in size.
I started out with a cream tag I made, and then inked it with Rusty Hinge DI, I also used this on the flower, and my doily.
I added Phil Martins Old Gold Gilding wax to the edges, and the edges of my doily and flower also.
On the bottom layer I used a mask and Phil Martins Chic Pumpkin sparkle texture paste.
I added my snippet of cotton crochet lace.
I inked my seam binding ribbon with RH/DI as well to give it the colour I wanted.
Finally I added a cabochon to the bow which I used gilding wax on too.

Thank you so much for your visit, and time.
I very much appreciate your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges.

  12. Loads of wonderful texture & snippets on this pretty tag. It's so lovely and I like the stencil effect with this rich color. Of course the golden newsprint flower & doily steal the show, until I glanced up to see the wonderful cabochon on the ribbon bow. Really a stunner, Jenny. TFS & Hugs
