A SHABBY CHIC CARD INSPIRED BY A BOOK

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Had family over for tea today so lots of cooking and clearing up after they went home.
Oh it's lovely to have them here, but the washing up afterwards is not great.

Well on to my card for today it's a card I made for the Frilly and Funkie Challenge, and the theme this fortnight is Author, and book inspired.
Now I don't read much these days, but was inspired by The Harry Potter books, as I think the stories are superb and very wonderful.
Oh to have J.K. Rowling's imagination must be wonderful.

This is a 8"x8" size black card I made.
I matt and layered it with Kraft card, and paper.
I distressed the edges with scissors, and inked the edges with Rusty Hinge DI.
I then sprayed the whole card with Phill Martins Old Gold  Cosmic Shimmer Mist which gave it a lovely gold sheen.
I used Phill Martins Chic Pumpkin Sparkle Texture Paste through a mask, and lots of bits from my stash to finish it off.

Thank you so much for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges.
