Hi and welcome to cardsarus blog spot My name is Jenny Lawrence and I live in Kent. My dear and wonderful husband Tony passed away in March 2019 We had been married for 36 years. I also lost my first Husband to the big C when I was quite young. I have 3 children and 3 stepchildren. 12 Grandchildren and 5 Great Granddaughters and 3 Great Grandsons. I have been card making for about 25 years. I have made things all my life as my Mum and Grand Mother taught me lots of hobbies. I have made my own clothes, knitted garments, hand embroidered items of clothing, and crocheted items too. I love to bake my own cakes as well.

GRANDSON'S BIRTHDAY CARD


Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.

Tomorrow is my Grandson's 13th Birthday, and he is a goalie in his football team, but lately he has started to play Basket Ball.
So this is the card I came up with for his Birthday this year.



This is a 8"x7" size card .
I cut out the frame with Sue Wilson's Rectangle Die set, now I only have the B set so I used snippets left over from other projects to give me my inner frame.
The image is from the Internet, and so is the emojo basket balls inside.
Love how this one turned out.

    What a fabulous card, love the images and your fabulous design.
    Only wish you had made this earlier as my Grandson is into basket ball to but he is 12 very begining of April and I really struggled, this year ended up doing him an ice-cream thingy.
    Congrats on winning the top prize over at Allsorts.

    Brilliant and very imaginative, perfect card for this young man. Love how you've turned the internet picture into a focal point in the wonderful SWilson frame. (I don't have either set but drool each time I see them used). Also cleverly designed inside, using the snippets from cutting that frame. The emoji-s are just delightful and will bring a smile to his face. Great work on personalizing this card so well. TFS & Hugs
