WEDDING CARD AND BOX

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments on my last card.
I really appreciate everyone as it goes a long way with my self doubt about what I create.

As I mentioned yesterday I am showing my Granddaughter's Wedding Card and Box I made, was quite pleased with how it turned out in the end, mind you it was a pig to photograph because of the pearlised card.

Now because the above photo made the left side look warped, I photographed this flat for the next one.

This is a 8"x8" size card and box I made to fit it.
As stated yesterday I coloured all my peach card which started out ivory with Peach Bellini Ink.
I cut out the frame with Sue Wilson's Noble Pierced Square Die.
I then cut out 8 Tattered Lace Kensington Corner Dies for the lace inserts.
Computer generated Sentiment, and cut out with Ultimate Crafts Magnolia Lane Damask Frame.
Added some pearls to the corners and round the frame.
The larger roses came from the works, and I coloured them with Peach Bellini Ink.
The smaller roses I have had for a while, and I also coloured those.
The leaves I cut out of 160 gsm paper by hand and coloured them with green inks.
The ivy is a Sheena Die and I coloured those slightly too.
I also coloured the ribbon on  the  sides of the box, and round the box.
Sorry for such long details on my design.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

  2. Hi Jenny. You don't need to say sorry for anything and you certainly shouldn't have any self doubt. All of your cards are stunning and this one even more so, it's amazing! You can see just how much care has been given and how much attention to detail there is. Your Granddaughter will treasure this always, and the box too as that's a work of art in itself. They are both so well thought out and the layouts are just perfect! I hope that you enjoy every minute of the wedding and that the sun will shine for you all. Crafty hugs, Sandra x

  4. A total Masterpiece Jenny, gorgeous dies, flower display, fantastic bow (dead jealous) great use of the pearls, fabulous inside and a beautiful box. Love the ribbon. I only have one criticism as it is for your Grand-daughter her name should have come first, but does that really matter.
Lol, think we are posting at the same time as I have just had a bleep that a mail has come from you on my snippets card.
You are very critical about it Jenny but you are totally wrong, superb.
