THANK YOU MISS DI SURPRISE BLOG HOP

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Darnell that lives over the pond is holding a surprise Blog Hop so that we all may Congratulate Miss Di on 7 Years of running the
PIXIES SNIPPETS PLAYGROUND CHALLENGE

I first encountered this challenge from visiting my Dear Friend
 Sue J.
She was posting some great creations made with lots of left over elements from other cards.
So I popped over to the
PIXIES SNIPPETS PLAYGROUND CHALLENGE where our lovely Miss Di encourages you to use up your snippets making a creation so you don't waste anything.
It can be anything you want to create not just a card as long as it made with at least one snippet item or more if you would like.
Miss Di and her lovely helper Parsnip have been running the challenge for 7 years after taking it over from the lovely Jules.
We have freat fun, and games just like being back at school in the playground

So DARNELL has organised this Blog Hop for us to say Thank You for all your hard work involved with this great challenge.
I haven't managed to enter this wonderful challenge lately as my husbands health issues, and house renovations have made crafting a bit hit and miss lately.
Another reason was getting ready for alterations to the house I had to put all my craft items away in boxes, and be very strong, and throw away my boxes, and boxes of snippets I had collected over the years, but happily I found a small box I had missed so I made this card.
Everything on the front of the card is a snippet even the lace, and flowers the only new item is the card base which I made, and the paper inside.

This is a 5"x7" tent style card I made.
The main card image is a snippet of Hunkydory card.
The lovely gold rainbow mirri card is also a snippet.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I am entering this into the following blog hop and challenges.

  5. It's a fabulous card Jenny, so lucky you managed to save some of your snippets...so traumatic for a crafter to throw away even the tiniest piece of something they may 'need', I REALLY need to be ruthless with my stuff but just can't bring myself to do it. My middle granddaughter did sort out my cardstock drawer last week, she is ruthless and did an amazing job...but it did hurt!!!

  21. I'm so glad you got a chance to play, Jenny, with all that you have going on! I congratulate you for being strong and getting rid boxes of your snippets! Sometimes they just get to be too much, especially now that they can be recycled. What you found allowed you to create a magical work of art for Di! What a lovely bouquet! This gorgeous creation needs to be put in a shadow box frame!! Thank you so much for joining in this Hop to thank Di! I hope your hubby's health improves and the house reno goes smoothly!! Hugs, Darnell

  23. Hi Jenny thanks for popping over, you asked how I was, simply up and down which isn’t unusual .. go through such patches.
Love this pretty pretty card, am most impressed that you threw away your Snippets, I do, but they get lots of thoughts first!
Thanks for popping over and being a blessing,

  24. Jenny this is absolutely beautiful. I love that you have made it into a tent style card. Trying not to blog too much at the moment as arm is still painful. Reading lots and watching loads of You Tube videos instead which is giving me loads of ideas but leaving me frustrated in not being able to do much crafting. Oh the joys of getting old. Hope your refurbishment of your craft room is al finished now. Hugs Mrs A.

  25. Hi Jenny, I love the card you have made from what you had salvaged. A lucky find. I do hope Tony is improving and that things are going well in the house. Certainly hope you are managing to keep warm - couldn't have come at a worse time with this extremely cold spell. Take care. Hugs Christine xx
