MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES DT CHALLENGE 144 ..FOR JULY...INKY BACKGROUNDS

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

It's the first of the month yet again and time for a new challenge over at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

Your host for this challenge is the lovely Carole and she would like to see Inky Backgrounds on your creations this month.

Here is what I made for my DT.

This is a 5"x7" size tent style crd.

I started by rubbing Blue Print Sketch Distress Oxide Ink down my card stock and then I stencilled a leaf design with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink.

I then sprayed the inked design with water and some white pearl mica I made up in a spray bottle. Which doesn't show up much in the photo.

I then cut out my sentiment 5 times out of white card stock and glued together.

Lastly I splattered white gesso watered down for some speckles.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.

I really appreciate every visit and wonderful comment you make.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
