THANK YOU CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I would like to welcome my newest follower Henry, and thank you for choosing to follow me, can you let me have a link to your blog if you have one so I can also follow you.

Had quite few busy days catching up on things I had let slide last week due to all the baking for the Mcmillan coffee morning.
I mentioned I had a few Thank You cards to make to say thank you for donations that were given as raffle prizes, and some Bric a brac that also went on a stall to help with the final amount.

So here is one of them.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The flowery paper is from a MCS CD.
I die cut a few different circles, and finally stamped my Thank You and heat embossed it with Sea Foam White embossing powder.
Finally I cut out a couple of flowers from the left over paper, and added a ribbon bow.

Thank you so much for your visit, and your precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

ART DECO BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.

I do hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.
Today is my Daughter's Birthday, and she was going to see Adele tomorrow night, which was a present from her Daughter, but sadly it was cancelled so she will have to wait a little longer for the concert.
Still all was not lost as her fiance took her to see the show Wicked this afternoon I do hope she liked it.

So here is the card I made her for her Birthday as she loves Art Deco.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The image, and paper which was really an insert is from the Kanban Klikk USB.
The insert was quite pale so I printed it again on top of the first print to give it more colour.
The oval lacy die cut is a Tattered Lace one that I won on the Allsorts Challenge a couple of months ago.
Cut it out in blue also and used the top and bottom to fill up a gap.
I added a gem to her ring on her finger, and some glitter to her head dress.
Also I added some clear sparkle pen from Crafters Companion to her stole.
Lastly I die cut some flowers out of the card that was left.

Also here is a picture of my Granddaughter on her yearly outing to Ascot Ladies Day the other week.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES DT ..................EMBOSSING WET OR DRY

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Today starts another challenge over at

and this time around it's the B Teams turn and the lovely Sue B is our host for this fortnight, and she would like to see your wonderful creations using Embossing/Wet or/Dry.
Please take a look at my lovely team mates super creations they made.
The challenge runs from Thursday 8/6/17 to Wednesday 21/6/17 at 6PM.
There is lovely prize of wonderful stamps  by John Lockwood that Wendy has donated, and you could be one of the top 3 chosen too.
We all love to see your wonderful
creations you  enter.

So onto my DT card.

This is a 8"x8" size card and box I made to match.
I started by painting my card with Starlight Paints in Agean, and Diamond colours.
This gave it a lovely pearlised sheen.
I embossed my background with a embossing folder that I had with my old E Bosser Die Cutting Machine.
I cut out 12 corners in the blue card for the outside and inside.
I die cut a circle frame and added some other die cuts around the inside edge.
Painted a wooden Happy Birthday and the 30 with the paints.
Lastly I added some flowers I made with some of the painted card.
Then I created my box to go with it.

Thank you so much for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

LAVENDER BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Well last week went super fast as usual.
Is it time speeding up, or is it me slowing down so much.
I think it's me slowing down .

Today I have a card made with 3 challenges in mind.

This is a 8"x7" size card.
The background papers were a download from Cuddly Buddly Crafts, and I thought they were lavender plants, but on a closer inspection I think they maybe bluebells.
The birds and the small postcards were a free download from C&C.
I distressed all the papers and Lavender card with scissors, and added Tea Die DI to the papers.
On the flowers I used some snippets of white card inked with Milled Lavender DI, but it doesn't show much on the photo.
I used stickles on the flowers and leaves, but that doesn't show much either.

Thank you for your visit, and your precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

OLDIE FOR FRIDAY

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Well it's Friday again, and time to share and Oldie with ERIKA HERE.
This is all just for fun, but a great way to show your older projects, and it doesn't have to be a card it can be anything you have posted on your blog before or made some time ago.

Next month it's my step daughter's Anniversary so I thought I would show a card I made for her, and her husband a couple of years ago.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I letter pressed the  embossing folder with DI Tumbled Glass.
The flowers are a Cheery Lynn Die.

Thank you for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

ANNIVERSARY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.
I really do appreciate every one.

A few of you mentioned using my last card again, but I unfortunately didn't have it back from my sister before she passed away, and don't like to bother my BIL at this sad time.

So onto a happier note, today I have a card I made for my Stepson, and his wife's 3rd Anniversary.
They have been together for 10 years, but only married 3 years ago.
I know her fave colour is purple so this what I came up with.

This is a 8"x7" size card.
I again drew around the largest of the Sue Wilson's Pierced Rectangles Die, and cut out my base card.
I then layered up with the die, and cut out a aperture which I used a snippet of card and double sided stick sheet, and added some Cosmic Shimmer Glacier Ice Glitter.
I also added some corner die cuts to each corner inside the aperture.
The flower is the same die as yesterday's flowers just pinched the flower petals the other way to give a type of Lily looking flower.
The button on the bow is purple, but it looks black in the picture.
Cut the sentiment banner by hand.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

WEDDING CARD AND BOX

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
I do hope you enjoyed your Bank Holiday weekend.
We had family visits, and that is always very nice.

Today I have a Wedding Card and Box I made for my Sister's granddaughter, but the wedding never took place.

This is a 8"x8" size card and box I made to fit.
The colour scheme I was given was Salmon Pink, Ivory, and Navy.
I didn't have the right colour card for the Salmon Pink so I inked some pearlised ivory card with Versa Magic Pink Petunia chalk Ink.
The oval mat was cut out on my ScaNcut machine from the Tattered Lace USB stick.
Now you may think I paper pierced the corners, but it was a happy accident, as the card used was very thick and they just embossed.
So I thought that looked nice for a change.

Thank you so much for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Hi and good afternoon dear friends and visitors
Well it's a little bit cooler in my part of the UK.
A Tad windy but a girl needs to cool down now
and then doesn't she so I'm a happy bunny. lol.
I do hope the weather where you are, is to your
liking.

This morning I suddenly remembered my step
daughters anniversary is today, so I have been
busy making this card to take over to her.
Just waiting for the glue to dry a little more.
I have also been making a wedding card and
box for my Son to take to a wedding on
Saturday.

Now the inside.

This is an 8x8 size card.
I distress inked my embossing folder with
Tumbled Glass Distress ink.
My flowers and leaves are a Cheryl Lynne
Floral Die C184, I had for my Birthday in
March, and this is the first time I have used
it.
The lovely pearls in the center of the flowers
were given me by my lovely little blogging
matey SueJ. Thank you Sue.
I have used the Spellbinders Grand Decorative
Circles. I do love this die.
Marianne Creatable Corner Die.
The lovely cord I threaded through the grand
circle die was from when my Dad used to do
knitting on a knitting machine.

Thank you for your visit and wonderful
comments.
I do hope you are enjoying your Wednesday.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
