RETIREMENT CARD AND BOX

Hi and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

I do hope you all are keeping well, and for those of you feeling poorly or under the weather I am send lots of get well wishes your way.

Today I have a Retirement card and Box I made for my daughter's work colleague.

The card is 8"x8" in size and the box I made to fit it.
Forgot to mention that I made this card blank by cutting down 2 A4 size cards.
The lady in question has a Black Lab dog so the request was for that on the design.
The image is
Pollyanna Pickering's art work, and papers from her CD which was lent to me from a friend.
I decided to go with a hinged design to accommodate the little 4" cards to sign by all the staff.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate every visit and super comment you make.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

ANOTHER CHRISTENING CARD AND BOX

Hi and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

The other day I got a lovely surprise in my post I received a set of dies from Practical Publishing saying congratulations for being featured in Simply Cards & Paper Crafting Magazine.
Now they did not say what issue it was shown in, and I have emailed them, and not got a reply.
If any of you perhaps has seen the magazine with it in could they please let me know which issue it was in.
I sent it all in before my dear hubby took ill so I forgot all about it.
Hope somebody can help.

Right back to today's post.
Here is another Christening card and box.

This is a 8"x8" size card and box I made to fit.
I used John Lockwood's Oakham Die which is so gorgeous.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.

BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Can't believe how the weather has turned so cold for June.
It was 18 degrees in my house this morning, and if I turn the heating on it takes 24 hours to warm up, and by then it may turn warm again just have to keep busy to warm up or use a blanket when sitting watching TV.

Here is a card I made a few weeks ago.

This is A5 in size.
Cut out the shape of the card with the Flourishing Trellis Oval Die,
and then added the layers you get with the die.
Made my little pink roses with a Britannia Rose Die which I have had for about 6 years now.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I do really appreciate every visit, and wonderful comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

WEDDING CARD AND BOX

Hi, and big warm welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also a big warm welcome to any one who just pops by to look at my work.

A few weeks ago I was asked by a neighbour to make a wedding card and box so this is what I made.

This is a 8"x8" size card, and box I made to fit it.
I used 2 different colour pearlised card.
The matt layer and corners are an iridescent, and have a slight lilac sheen to it, as you can see on the box.
I had to redo the verse inside as it went blurry, and I didn't
 re-photograph it again.
 Flowers from WOC.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE
I do hope everyone is having a lovely Easter weekend.
As usual it's raining in my part of Kent it nearly always rains for Easter.

Hi, and a big warm welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also a big warm welcome to anyone who just pops by to look at my work.

Yesterday I thought I would make some Easter cards.

The first one is 8"x8" in size.
The second one is 8"x5" in size.
I used gold mirri snippets for my matt and layering on the first just joined it in the middle, and the backing yellow card for the shaker part is a snippet too, not done a shaker card for ages.
The second one is the snippets cut off of the A4 sheet of Hunkydory card stock.
Flowers I have had in my crafting arsenal for about 10years just cut out some John Lockwood's leaves to go with them.

Will be joining my Snippets playground friends with this.

As always thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.

GETTING INKY AGAIN FOR THIS ANNIVERSARY CARD

Hi, and a big warm welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also a big warm welcome to anyone that just pops by to look at my work.
I would love you comment if you can, spare the time.

Well I do hope you all had a great weekend.

I have been getting inky again for a couple of challenges.
So I made this card with an Anniversary in mind that is next month.
Been doing a happy dance again as I am pleased with how this turned out again.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I got my Izink inks out again to play, and make my background by inking my glass mat and mopping up the ink drying with the heat gun between each layer.
I then cut out the trellis corner with the JND Sandwich Box Die.
I also inked up some more paper with my inks to make the rose.
I spritzed them all with Tattered Angels Mica spray to give them a lovely sheen.
I also made my rose leaves out of snippets of paper, and inked those too.
The die cut leaves were also cut from snippets of card, and  mopped up ink, and the mica spray.
Stamped my sentiment on more snippets with the  ink.
The silver bling butterflies on a string were sent to me by my sister.
I used Pink, Purple, and Pearls on my Butterfly Challenge entry.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really do appreciate every visit, and wonderful comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

A CARD MADE FROM WENDY'S SKETCH ON F/BOOK

Hi and a big warm welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also a big warm welcome to anyone who just chances on here to view my work.

Now Wendy who is our team leader on the MAWTT Challenge sets a sketch challenge on Facebook every week on her craft page so I really wanted to enter this week and more if I get chance.

Here is what I created out of her sketch which I am quite pleased with.  One of those cards you want to do a happy dance after making.

This is the sketch.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I made the background a while back when using Izink inks and this is what I created with mopped up inks.
Today I spritzed it with a Tattered Angels Mica Spray to give it a sheen.
Then I cut out my apertures, and added some Snippets of coloured card from my snippets box.
The JND flowers and leaves were also made from snippets.
The lovely trellis die cuts in the middle of the ovals came from JND's Sandwich box die, and was cut out of the pieces of the apertures.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.
I really appreciate every visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

DARNELL'S TWOFER CHALLENGE # NO 2

Hi and a big warm welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also a big warm welcome to anyone that just happens upon my blog, don't be shy your comment is always appreciated.

On the 10th of this month Darnell started her 2nd Twofer Challenge.
this runs to the 24th of Feb, and results are posted on the 30th of the month.

So here is my entry.

The sizes of these are 6"x6" and 5"x7".
Now the one on the right is quite CAS for me, and as anyone who knows me I struggle with CAS as I love embellishments.
They are both stamped with a freebie heart stamp from the Creative Stamping Magazine this month.
I used Memento Lady Bug ink and my Misti to stamp with.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time I really appreciate your visit, and comments.

JOHN LOCKWOOD'S SANDWICH BOX AND CARD

Hi, and a big welcome to all my craft loving, and talented friends.
Also a big welcome to any visitors just looking in.

The weather is so cold at the moment so I do hope you are all keeping warm.
It did warm up slightly with some sun yesterday morning, but that disappeared by lunchtime.

Last week I bought John Lockwood's Sandwich Box Die, and yesterday evening was the first time I could play with it.
Not entirely happy with the result as I made a few mistakes, but you learn by your mistakes.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
For the box I had the idea of putting masking tape behind silver mirri card and embossing it with the lattice part of the die, and then fitting it into the back of the cut out lattice part.
That was quite fiddly and not that happy with the result.
I also made a mistake with the hinge of the box a lesson learnt for next time.
I wouldn't use mirri card again either as it picks up lots of dusty bits which I didn't notice till I took the photos.

Forgot to say the mirri card used for the inlay of the box was Snippets so I will join my playground friends with this.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time it is sooooooooo! appreciated.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE 93......X IS FOR EXTRA FOLD AND THE COLOUR PEACOCK

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I do hope you are having a good weekend, and the weather is being kind to you all.
It's dull and damp in my part of Kent at the moment.

Yesterday I decided to get cracking on my Butterfly Challenge entry as I do like to enter if I can.
Now the colour Peacock was a challenge too.
Decided to go with a Z Fold card again for the extra fold.

2 Different views of this card.
I knew I had that lovely big butterfly with the colour Peacock on that my sister bought me.
Then I remembered some mirri card which I thought was the same colour.
To make sure the colour was right I also used a waste snippet die cut to ink through to give me the look of stamped leaves.
The doily was cut from snippets, and also the leaves were too.
Finally I stamped a verse from a freebie stamp with Ocean iZink dye ink on more snippets, and mounted it on more snippets of silver mirri card.

Thank you so much for you visit, and your precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

GRANDDUAGHTER'S BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.

I do hope you are having a lovely weekend.

When I went to see John Lockwood demoing in November last year my Daughter bought me his media plates while there, well with all that was going on before Christmas, and being ill I had no time to play with them.
This I rectified this week, and made my Granddaughter's card with them.
I hope you like my effort as I only have old pigment inks, and not the izinks yet.

This is a tent style card I made.
The size is 7.5"x6.5".
I used my oval media plate to make the centre panel, and then heat embossed it with silver pearl embossing powder.
I used the Crafts Too Mariposa cut, and embossing folder, and ran my Versa Color blue pigment ink over the embossed part, and then used my silver pearl embossing powder, and heat embossed it.
I then cut fussy cut around the edges of the embossing folder design.
Next I sprayed the whole of the embossing  folder design with Crafters Companion Sparkle Pearl Diamond spray.
I then added some die cut butterflies which I cut out in white, and used the blue pigment ink, and embossing powder on.
This I also did to the flowers.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments they are very much appreciated.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
