MY TREASURED FRIEND MY TEDDY BEAR

Good evening dear blog friends and visitors
I can't believe it's Friday evening already.
I am so sorry I haven't posted much this week or commented
on any of your fabulous work.
It's been one of those awful weeks with a hundred and one things
to do and not enough time to do them in, or it's just me slowing
down, or my age. Well that's my excuse in any rate.

I do hope you are all keeping nice and warm in this dreadful
cold weather. Isn't it just awfully cold at the moment.

My Dad got taken into hospital last night, and with all this
horrid weather I can't even make the journey to Wales to see
him.

My card today is one I have made for my neighbour  who is
96 tomorrow.  She hasn't got very good sight these days so
hence the big writing.

Click on the photo to enlarge the picture.

Now the inside.

I photographed this before I put the Happy Birthday on it.
The papers are Dovecraft, and the image is one that was already
coloured in as I needed this card made in a hurry and didn't have
time to colour it in.
Thank you again for your visit and your wonderful comments on
my last post.
I really do appreciate every comment that you make.
I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday tomorrow.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Hello Jenny
Your card is gorgeous. I love the cute image and beautiful colours.
Sorry to hear about your Dad being taken into hospital, it's a shame you cannot visit him but I am sure he will understand. I hope he is better soon.
Take care in the snow and I hope you have a good weekend

Lovely bright card, makes such a difference being able to adjust the text to suit and your gorgeous layers. Hope your dad recovers quickly, he should be safe and warm and it is much better for you to stay put and safe. He will understand. Sending hugs. xx Flora

Hi Jenny, I hope your Dad is OK, I know you told us he wasn't well a while ago, he is in the best place for getting well now. I am still the same 8 weeks now I have had this horrid cough and cold, it is 'attached' to me.
Your card is beautiful, I adore the colours, beautiful, and the image is gorgeous.
Take care and keep warm, I know what you mean about not having enough hours in the day, I feel like that, since I finished work 18 months ago I have slowed down considerably, although my walking hasn't ha ha, I still walk fast, but my pace of life has slowed, and really that is a good thing, but all these other 'mundane' things get in the way of our crafting don't they ha ha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Jenny. Nice to have you back and with a lovely card. Sorry to hear that your Dad is in hospital, but he is the best place. It must be terrible knowing you can't go to visit because of this weather. Keep safe. Hazel

Hi Jenny - I love the colours on this card and the image really is cute. I am sure your neighbour loved it. I'm like you and am not blogging very much, I will have to fill the cupboard once it has been completed so I guess I am still far from being a more regular blogger just yet! LOL.

Big hugs Sue xxx
