CITRUS COLOURS SHABBY CHIC CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.
I do hope you all had a very lovely weekend.

Didn't think I was going to be able to join one of my fave challenges I like to support, but I have just managed it with a day to go phew.
So here is what I came up with.

This is a 8"x6" tent style card.
The papers are Cuddly Budly, and Heartfelt Creations.
Used some lace from my stash which I have had for a while.
Made the flower, and leaves and coloured them with inks.
Also made the butterflies from Martha Stewart paper clay, and the pin is one I made also.
As I hve used the metal pin, and metal  buttons I will be entering the Allsorts challenge too.

Thank you so much for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

HAPPY RUDOLF DAYS

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

The weather here in my part of Kent is very drab today, so I do hope that where ever you may live the weather is being kinder to you.

As it's the 25th of the month Happy Rudolf Day to everyone.
The Rudolf Challenge starts today over at
Now as I am on the DT and it's my rest month I thought I still want to make my Christmas cards so I can be well ahead with them by the end of the year.

These are both 6"x6" size cards.
On the first I ink dusted my sky, and made a few snow hills, and then I stamped my Rudolf which was a stamp I was given by Srappymo as a DT present for being on her DT last year.
I coloured him in with Derwnt pencils, and then added some glamour dust to the hills.
The second was made with one of the freebie stamps with the stamping magazine.
Coloured in with Promarkers, and then I added some Stickles Glitter glue.

Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.
I really do appreciate them.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

REMINDER OF THE RUDOLF CHALLENGE...................AND SNIPPETS CARDS

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.

Just popped in today to remind you all that the
 Rudolf Challenge starts over at
on the 25th of the month.
This runs from the 25th to the end of the month, and it's a wonderful way to get some your Christmas cards made earlier than you usually would.
You can also win a lovely prize too.
Now as this month I have a rest from being on the design team  I thought I would make a couple of cards out of snippets so I could join my lovely friends in the Snippets Playground.

I won the lovely Scotty Dog Die on the Pixie's Snippets Playground a few months ago.
I had the idea for the design of the first card from a Christmas Gift Bag I received, and the second was the negative that was left when I die cut the Scotty Dog out of Snippets of holographic mirri card to glitter.

Thank you so much for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
I do hope you all had a good weekend.
We have been having some very glorious weather lately, and it's been so mild too.

I was asked by a neighbour to make a Birthday card for her friend so here is what I made her.
I seem to be in a green phase at the moment. lol.

This is a A5 size card.
The image of the Blue Tit is a Hunkydory one and also the bottom border is Hunkydory mirri  card stock too.
I used an Ultimate Crafts square doily die to sit the image on.
Then I added some of the mini Tattered Lace flowers die cuts.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.
I do appreciate your visit so much, and especially your wonderful comments.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

PAPER PIERCED GREEN CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
I do hope you are all having a good weekend, and for those of you that are not too well, I am sending Big Get Well Wishes your way.

Finished my card for the current Butterfly Challenge this afternoon, and I can also join the Allsorts Challenge as it's Anything Goes this week.

So here is what I came up with.

This is a 6"x6" size scalloped card.
I popped holes in each of the scallop's to accommodate the ribbon to be threaded through.
My background paper I created by swirling Memento Ink Bamboo Leaves onto white card to get the colour I wanted.
Then I added Cosmic Shimmer Enchanted Gold Gilding Polish to it to give a pearlised appearance.
I added a pierced flourish, and cut out some Butterflies, flowers, and fern die cuts from the left over card I made.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

HUMMING BIRD CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends , and visitors.
Thank you for all get well wishes you are so kind.
Hopefully I will try and visit everyone eventually as I am trying to do commenting in stages throughout the days for a while.

So here is a card I made a couple of weeks ago.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The card stock and the image are from Hunkydory.
Placed a few die cuts under the images, and coloured my seam binding ribbon to match with Cracked Pistachio DI.
The Hummingbird Die cut inside is a Nbus one I have had for a while and I coloured it with Memento Inks.
Not too sure about this card as I think there are too many patterns on the front of the card.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES DT CARD.................FOR A MAN

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Sorry I haven't been about much, but I am having trouble with the top of my spine, neck, and right shoulder.
So not wanting a repeat of a few years ago I have been resting it.

For A Man.

Please pop along to the blog to take a look at my wonderful team mates creations.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The image is from The Give Him Squeeze CD and I printed it on Photographic card, and decoupaged it.
The black pearlised card is Hunkydory and also the rainbow mirri is Hunkydory too.

Thank you so much for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

PAPER PIECING VALENTINES CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, and your precious time.

Well I have just finished a card so I can join in this weeks Allsorts Challenge phew I think I have just about made it.

This is a 6" circle card I made.
The digi  image I coloured with
Pro- markers, and a Sakura Black Glitter Gel Pen.
I printed my digi image again on the patterned paper, and paper pieced the lid, and bow.
The patterned paper is a download from the Cuddly Buddly Crafts.
My sentiment was cut out on some snippets of card so I can also join my playmates in the Snippets Playground with this.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

PEACOCK BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.
I would like to say a very warm welcome to my newest follower, and thank you so much for joining me in my crafty journey.
I do hope you can visit when ever your time allows.
I would also like to say a big
THANK YOU to all my followers that always visit me on a regular basis, and leave such heart warming comments on my work.

Today I have a card  I made just because I loved the image.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The card I used was from Hunkydory's first set of images all done with a mirri finish, and they are all so gorgeous too.
As the card was so pretty to start with, I just added some die cut flowers, a corner die cut, and some seam binding ribbon that I dyed with Peacock Feathers DI.
Sadly the mirri finish doesn't show up much in the photo.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

VALENTINES SHABBY CHIC CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I am sorry I forgot to welcome my newest follower the other day.
I am so happy that you decided to follow me, and I do hope you can pop back when ever you have the time.

Well another weekend is upon us, and it's wet and drab in Kent.
So I do hope the weather is kinder in your part of the world.

Made this card for the Frilly and Funkie Challenge as the theme is
Be My Valentine.

This is a A5 size card.
The papers are a Cuddly Buddly download.
I distressed the edges with scissors, and then inked them with Fired Brick DI.
The image is off the Internet.
I made my pin, and inked the edge of the roses, and made the flower arrangement from my stash.
I coloured the seam binding ribbon with a combination of Fired Brick DI, and Pixie Powder Lava Red.

Thank you for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BUTTERFLIES IN A JAR CARD.

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I do hope everyone is keeping well.

Today I have a card I made for the current Butterfly Challenge which I like very much to support as I love Butterflies.
I promise no Butterflies were harmed in this project, and I don't advocate keeping Butterflies in a jar either.

This is a 6"x5" size card.
I started by inking my background card with Archival Potting Soil Ink, and then as it was too dark I used Peanut Brittle Memento Ink on top.
I then stamped my Butterflies with the Potting Soil Ink randomly.
So on to my Jar that was stamped with Potting Soil too.
Didn't have Brown Stazon Ink for the Acetate so I used Black.
Painted the colours with Memento Inks, and added some glitter to the trails of the Butterflies flying around.
Decoupaged the lid, and added some watered down Starlight paint to make the lid look metallic.
I can't tell you how many times I stamped the jar and butterflies to get it right as either one of the butterflies stamped wrong or the sentiment stamped wrong. lol.

Thank you so much for your visit, and time as I know time is precious to all of us.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
