EXPLODING BOX

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.
Well I'm back form my sisters in Wales.
I had a wonderful time at the NEC and bought lots
of craft goodies that I especially wanted.
I was limited to what I could bring back though
as I have to travel back form Wales by coach, so
I couldn't bring any of the lovely card they had.
As it was my suitcase weighed a ton.

Today I have an exploding box I made for Mrs A
butterfly challenge, I also used snippets from my
snippets box for the die cuts so I can join the
playground too.

I used the Cupcakecrafting CD Floral Delights
by Andrew Hull, for the template and flowered
print on the card.
I used a lovely yellow silk flower on top and in
the center.
The leaves are what I bought at the NEC on a
ribbon.

I am sorry if I have missed visiting any of you
since coming home, but my top of my spine is
playing up and I am limited to how much typing
I can do till I am in a lot of pain.

Thank you again for your time and visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter the following challenges.

So glad to hear you had a fun time in Wales & got some nifty new stash. I can just picture you traveling through the beautiful countryside on a train (as I see in the British movies..looks so fun). This box is simply amazing. Gorgeous bright color, the sparkling jewels, pretty flowers. A true breath of spring, and perfect for the Butterfly challenge. Hope you get to feeling better real soon. Hugs & Happy Sunday. And Happy Mother's Day to you as well. Just read on another blog that it was Mother's Day, UK time. USA is next month.

Hi Jenny
So sorry to hear about your back. Hope it feels better soon.
Wonderful box. The flowers are beautiful. Are those leaves on a ribbon you pull the thread on and it makes a flower? Saw a lady demoing with them and they looked lovely.
Take care.

Gorgeous box Jenny! So bright and cheerful too.

Hope that back eases soon - maybe you overdid it at the NEC? That's where mine kicked off last November. Does that mean Craft Shows should come with a health warning?

Sorry I'm a bit late commenting - didn't expect such a rush of little feet into the Playground yesterday!

I have only ever made one exploding box for my logging friend Sherry as they are quite time consuming so know how much work has gone into this delightful one. Gorgeous yellow just right for spring as it cascades open. Cute butterfly. Thank you for fluttering by 4. Hugs Mrs A. (Butterfly challenge).
