RUDOLF DAYS CHALLENGE...........SEPTEMBER 2018

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

My DH got rushed into hospital in the early hours of Sunday morning with a suspected stroke again.
We sat around AE for 12 hours waiting for decisions on whether to admit him.
We arrived at the hospital at 2.45 AM and were not seen by anybody till 4.00Am, and that was a nurse taking blood, and doing blood pressures.
Finally we saw a Doctor at 8.15AM, and then was asked to wait in the waiting room again.
At 12.Pm after seeing 2 more Doctors we were told they would like to admit him, but didn't have a bed till 3.00PM.
I know the health service is stretched, and they do their best, but we sat on very hard seats  all that time, and my poor hubby was so uncomfortable, and feeling so poorly, and of course frightened.
After all he is 79 years of age too.
Home again now, but having trouble moving around, and doing things.
So I may not be around much for a while.

I made my card for the Rudolf Challenge last week, and as it's not my turn to DT I can join in the challenge.
As always it's anything goes as long as it's Christmas and
ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.
There is a lovely prize to won to.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
I started by stamping my background paper with a freebie stamp and Memento Northern Pine Ink.
Then I stamped my Red Cardinal in Versafine Ink and heat embossed it.
Coloured it in with Promarkers.
Then I added some glue in dots, and used faux snow for the falling snow.
Sentiments were freebie stamps also.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

KINGFISHER CARD

Hi , and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

I do hope your weekend is going well, and the weather is being good to you all.

Today starts another great challenge over at Allsorts, and the theme is water or blue.
So here is my entry into that challenge.

This is a 5"x7" tent style card I made.
The lovely Kingfisher image my  friend gave when we were crafting the other day, and it's from one of the Hunkydory little book series.
She also gave me lots of mirri mats too.
I added stickles to the water to give it a sheen, and a stone for the Kingfisher's eye.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really do appreciate every visit, and wonderful comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

1st BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

I do hope you are all okay especially those who live north of the country as I know they have had the tail end of storm Ali.

Yesterday I spent the whole day crafting with a friend making things for the MacMillan coffee morning.

I was asked by a lady that works with my Daughter to make her a Birthday card for  her Great Grandson.
She wanted Swings, slides, and roundabouts on it.
So this is what I made her.

This is a 7"x7" size card.
Now the lady in question didn't tell me she didn't have a husband.
So it came quickly back to change the saying to my instead.
The theme was to be anything to do with playgrounds.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate every ones visit.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

CHRISTMAS CARD WITH A SCENE

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Have been playing about with my freebie stamps today so I could enter the Allsorts Challenge this week.
So I thought I would make a Christmas card so my stash of Christmas cards gets larger.

Not sure about this scene, and I had great troubles with the snow stamp it wouldn't stay on the Misti or a stamping block in the end I just had to use my hand for the stamping.

This is a 7"x7" size card.
I started by masking off my moon and then inked my sky with DOI Broken China, and then added Faded Jeans DI.
I swooshed some Tumbled Glass DI across the moon.
Then I added my little house trees, and greetings.
I then cleaned the ink from the house with a wet paintbrush, and tissue, and added some white gel pen to the roof, and some grey Memento ink to the walls of the house.
I grounded my house, and my trees with the Grey Memento Ink on a brush with water.
Finally used an antistatic bag all over it and stamped my snow with Versamark embossing ink, and heat embossed it with Seafoam White embossing powder.
I did add a Spectrum Clear Glitter pen to the snow, but I'm not sure if it will show on camera.
The inside was stamped with more of the freebie stamps.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate every visit, and wonderful comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

DARNELLS TWOFER CHALLENGE NO 9.........LEAVES

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Darnell has been running a
Twofer Challenge every month, and I did join in earlier in the year, but couldn't manage for a quite a few months, so I thought it was about time I tried to join in.
So I made time to make my Twofer cards this morning.

The challenge is to make 2 cards using the same stamps or die cuts for different occasions, and leaves is the challenge this month.
Here is my effort one is a 7"x7" in size, and the other is 5"x7" in size.
I started by spraying snippets of white card with Tattered Angels Mica sprays in Orange, Red, Yellow, and a Brown which are colours you find in Autumn Leaves.
When dry I stamped my leaves that came as a freebie last month with the Creative Stamping Magazine with Versafine Ink in my Misti.
The sentiments were also from the same set.
Then I set about designing my cards.
Sorry the photos don't show up the lovely mica look to the sprayed card it seems to have come out looking very dull.

Thank you for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate each visit and the wonderful comments.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

HUNKYDORY CARD KIT

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

I do hope you all having a fab weekend, and I hope our US blog friends are all safe from the weather they are having in some parts.

Today I have a card I made from a Hunkydory kit that came with one of the kits I bought a while ago.
Now there were 6 of these in the kit, and after making the first one I decided to make the rest in case I forgot how to make them later on.
Not sure what design they are, but they fold flat for postage, and are A5 in size.

I just added some extra butterflies, and pearls so all in all a quick card to make, but effective looking.
I think I made the 6 in just under an hour.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate every visit, and comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

We are being sponsored by
CRAFTY RIBBONS

this fortnight and they are offering
for a Non UK winner a
GBP Voucher excluding the postage.
For a UK winner they will send a Ribbon Bundle.
The challenge runs from today to Wednesday 26th of September, and close at 6PM on that day.
All the DT love to see your wonderful entries into our challenge.

My Design Team creation is the other Wedding Card and Box I mentioned I made for my Great Nephew.

This is a 8"x8" size card and box I made to fit it.
I made this one before the other one I showed a few weeks ago, and I was struggling finding the colour card I needed so edged the mat layer with ribbon so I had the right colour for my base colour.
I die cut my heart and then added ribbon all over it before placing under the heart aperture.
The organza flowers are from the works, and the leaf ribbon my sister sent me.
Please pop over to the challenge blog to see the wonderful DT creations my team mates have made.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

ANOTHER RETIREMENT A4 SIZE CARD

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Thank you so much for all your good wishes on my DH health.

Was asked by my Daughter to make this card for the lady who works on the reception desk where she works as she was retiring.
She wanted and A4 size card so everyone who works there could sign it.
So this is what I made for her.

As I said this is an A4 size card made from A3 white card that was 300 GSM  in weight, and  it's from the Hunkydory A3 Pads of card which is wonderful to work with, and such good value as it's only £14.99 for the pad of 50 sheets.
Used Hunkydory card with a sequin finish for the main part.
The flowers and lace are from
The Works, and the Corner Die was a freebie in a craft magazine a few years back.
The image is Hunkydory also, and the inside is Hunkydory paper, and I used picture from their little books to make the A5 cards inside for people to write their wishes on.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate all your wonderful comments.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
