Hi and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.
Sorry I have not been about again lately finding very hard to get everything done in a day with no help from outside.
I have also been a bit down as I was not well, and the old mind kept thinking I had the virus.
I face time my family daily on my phone to keep my spirits up.
I do hope everyone is keeping well.
Running late with my entry into the Rudolf Days Challenge over at
It's not my month for my DT so I can enter a card, it's a quick make as I can't seem to concentrate at the moment.
This is a 5"x7" size card.
I used a Crafters Companion 3D embossing folder and then used some very old rub ons to highlight the design.
Will be back tomorrow as it's the begining of the month and time for a new challenge over at
Moving Along With The Times.
Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges.

Everyone's in the same place I think, Jenny. I hope you are not sick with the virus. We are having allergies here with the trees in bloom and that is what some are suffering from. Facetiming is a wonderful way to keep in touch with the family - good for you. This card is lovely. The touches of gold with the bright gold sentiment make it so elegant. I love that embossing folder too. Stay well, my friend.
Hi Jenny this is a gorgeous Christmas card. I love it. I am so sorry you have been poorly. These are very difficult times we are living through. Take care. Hugs Jackie
Sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well Jenny, I really hope you're on the mend now. I think it's really difficult for those who live on their own during this pandemic, and particularly hard if you're feeling poorly and worried- not surprised you're struggling to concentrate, it must be impossible to think about anything else.
Keep your chin up - and look after yourself.
BTW Your card is lovely, the simple design is very elegant, love the green with the gold ribbon.
hugs

Ahh Jenny, so sorry you've been feeling unwell! It is a frightening time we all are living in, more so for people living on their own. It's great that you can Facetime your family. I miss mine so much. Our grandson was 12 at the beginning of last month, his present is still with us until we see him, plus his Easter gift too! I can understand how difficult it can be when your concentration goes AWOL
Take care dear friend

Aww Jenny, I'm so sorry to hear that you've been poorly, awfully hard when your feeling down too, imagination can go at warp speed. If you are really worried, please contact your GP. Thankfully this new technology let's you have contact with your family, and that cheers you.
Your card is so pretty, lovely colours and design.
Keep your chin up, and keep safe Kate x
so sorry to read you have been poorly Jenny, you have had a lot to contend with over the past year and being unable to see family and friends must be so difficult.

Hi Jenny, So sorry to hear you haven't been well, and I can understand exactly when you say your mind works overtime, I am just the same. I hope that your facetiming with your family helps you. We all need a 'lifter upper' when we let our mind get the better of us. Please try and look on the positive side and let's hope this virus lockdown is over real soon.
It may be a quick card, Jenny, but it is so effective, I love it !!
Stay safe, stay well.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

I love this gorgeous card Jenny. The crafters Companion Embossing Folders make such wonderful cards by just adding a little guilding wax and a sentiment. Hope that you are keeping well at the moment. Thank you for joining in Rudolph Days Challenge this month.

Sorry to hear that you've been feeling unwell. I hope you'll soon be fully recovered. I'm glad you are able to Face Time your family. We're living in strange times, but hopefully there will be light at the end of the tunnel soon. Your card is beautiful Jenny. I love the embossing folder you used. xx
That embossing folder is gorgeous. Such a lovely and deeply embossed design. The glimmer you have rubbed across it looks great, Jenny.
Sorry to hear that you are struggling a bit. I know it is a lot to keep up with all by yourself. I am sorry to hear you have not been feeling well. I know that any episode of a cough or sore throat makes my husband and I worry too.
I am so glad that you have the facetime with your family. That must really help!
I have to wave hello to mine as they walk past our house with the dog. They have to walk right by and usually phone us first. AS they are only 6 houses away, They are there by the time we grab our sweaters. We sit on the front porch chairs and talk for 3 or 4 minutes...depending on how antsy the dog is for his walk~!!!
Take care, Jenny.
Thanks for taking part in the April Rudolph Days Challenge.
Often the simpler cards are the best - the embossing and the gold just lift this one nicely. Sorry to hear you've not been well and hope things improve soon. With the best will in the world we all seem to get 'off' days when it is difficult to settle to anything but having contact with family and friends is good even if it is at a distance. Can't imagine what this situation would be like without all the modern technology which is available to us nowadays. Take care
