Hi and welcome to cardsarus blog spot My name is Jenny Lawrence and I live in Kent. My dear and wonderful husband Tony passed away in March 2019 We had been married for 36 years. I also lost my first Husband to the big C when I was quite young. I have 3 children and 3 stepchildren. 12 Grandchildren and 5 Great Granddaughters and 3 Great Grandsons. I have been card making for about 25 years. I have made things all my life as my Mum and Grand Mother taught me lots of hobbies. I have made my own clothes, knitted garments, hand embroidered items of clothing, and crocheted items too. I love to bake my own cakes as well.

CHRISTMAS WREATH CARD

Hi and welcome to my dear craft loving friends,
and visitors.
 Now don't faint it's me again after another break.
Still having problems with my neck and shoulders
if I do too much crafting or typing, but I am trying
to get my children's Christmas cards done in small
snaps of crafting that I can manage.

I have a card today to enter into the Pixies 
Playground snippets challenge as I used some
snippets from my snippets box.

Now the inside.



This is a 5"x5" size card.
I distressed the edges of the card and paper 
Fire Brick Distress Ink
I made my ribbon wreath and added a stamped
sentiment in the center and inside the card.

Aaw!! Jenny, so sorry to here you are not too good. Nothing worse than "PAIN" it pulls you down so much.
However through it all you have managed to create a stunning card. I love doing the ribbon weaving. You have made a terrific card,absolutely stunning. Love the colours you have used.

Wow this I stunning Jenny! I have been trying to master ribbon wreaths for years! I thought I'd got it when I followed Sue Wilson's video but it was a one time 'fluke' lol, I'll keep trying! Sorry about your neck & shoulder, hope you're better soon, hugs Carole Z xx

Jenny what a stunning card, sorry you are suffering. That's how I was weeks ago, thankfully the steroids are working not that I like being on them but I don't like the pain either.

Sorry all has not been well with you. Hopefully the forthcoming festivities will give you a bit of cheer.
Cracking card. I've made a green wreath but hadn't got round to using it. Popped it on one card then took it off again. Think I made it too long as yours looks much better.

Your card is stunning, love, love, love, the colours and the ribbon wreath is fabulous, I watched your link video, and it looks quite easy although I presume practice makes perfect haha.

Stunning card. I will pray that you feel better soon. It is such a drag to be feeling poorly at Christmas!
I had a rough few weeks with a blasted cough, cold thing...but am gradually getting a bit more sleep...must be coughing less...Yay!
