MISICAL THEME CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.
A big welcome to my newest follower, and thank
you for choosing to follow me.
I do hope to see you visiting me quite often to see
what I am creating.

Sorry I have been missing for a few days, but I
have been very busy, as it's my Grandson's 10
Birthday on Tuesday, so I have been busy baking,
looking after him, and his sister while their parents
went out Birthday present shopping.
I have also had to make his card which I was
quite late making, and a card for our keyboard
player in our little singing group.
So I will stop waffling on, and show you the
quick card I made for our keyboard player.

Now the inside.

This card is 7"x7" in size.
I used an old Hunkydory topper and card to
make this.
I did my usual thing of copying the card to
create the inside.
I nearly forgot to say I had a happy accident while
making this card. I wanted to use my cosmic shimmer gold glue dots but they were so old they
wouldn't go into dots, so I just brushed the deges
of the card with it instead, and got that lovely
gold effect.
I used some of my snippets out of my snippets
box for the brown die cut underneath the image,
and inside the card.

Thank you again for your time, and visit, and
also all your wonderful comments.
I will be round to visit your blogs tonight after
my singing practice this afternoon, that's if I'm
not too tired, as I am getting on and will turn
65 later this week. lol.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges.

This is such a lovely idea for your keyboard player Jenny - I shall be thinking of you singing along this afternoon! I was wondering where you were, glad that you are busy elsewhere though and not poorly! As for you being 65 later this week - 21 again methinks. I'm only just behind you! Hope your grandson has a lovely time - with your baking he can't help but have a really really good time! Don't forget to put mine in the post.

Big hugs to you matey Sue Pxxx

Brilliant card, love all the instruments and the papers. This time last year I searched all over for a trumpet image and couldn't find one anywhere.

Morning Jenny, A really lovely card for a musical person, or in fact anyone who loves music. What a great idea to use your Cosmic Shimmer gold this way, I think mine will probably be drying up too, so a great idea Jenny, thank you.
Happy 65th Birthday for later on in the week, I hope you have a lovely day.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Well, Jenny, is today your later-in-the-week birthday? Tomorrow? Whenever it is, I hope it's a very special day for you! That's a huge milestone which I'll be reaching myself this year. I think the celebration for such as that should last AT LEAST a week, don't you agree?!!

Your golden musical card, all three sides' worth(!), is magical and amazing!! What a gift!! Big Birthday Hugs!! Darnell

So very elegant. Even had DH come in to see your beautiful card and how you decorate even the insides! He liked it too. Loved the gold shimmery effect you have on the shaped image. How marvelous you had the perfect topper for a musician. He'll love it. TFS & Hugs. Watch that bacon frying too. Happy if you got a smile from the Trueisms. I had seen those before, but it gave me some chuckles, I was able to paste the email. Got some really cute Maxine Irish cartoons, but couldn't get those to copy & paste.
