Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends,
and visitors.
I do hope you are all keeping well, and for those
a little under the weather big virtual hugs are on
there way to you, to help.
Well I finally got my card done for the Butterfly
Challenge, as I was having one of my bad nights
again, and couldn't sleep.
Decided to go a bit Shabby Vintage style with this.
Now those of you that know me well know I don't
very often do Shabby Vintage cards, it's bit out of
my comfort zone, but I thought I would have a go
as I won the wonderful Butterfly Stamp on the
Snippets Playground last year, and I thought it was
time I used it.
This is a 6"x6" size card.
I distressed the edges with scissors, and then I
used DI Tea Dye on the edges of cream card.
I also letter pressed the music embossing folder
with Tea Dye too.
Stamped the Butterfly, and Butterfly background
inside with Ranger Archival Ink Potting Soil.
I stamped some musical notes with a stamp I
bought at Lidl Supermarket a couple of weeks
ago.
The embossing, and the butterfly were done on
snippets so I will join my friends in the Snippets
Playground for some fun, and games with Miss
Di, and the lovely Parsnip playing monitor, and
making sure we don't get too boisterous. LOL.
Thank you for your visit and time.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
I would like to enter this into the following

Oh yes Jenny you have captured shabby chic perfectly...it's a style I struggle with too. Love the inky embossed detail and that stamp really is beautiful xx
Hi Jenny
Wow! I love your shabby vintage card and you certainly have mastered it!
With so much attention to detail and texture - fabulous!
Thanks for sharing it at the playground.

Oh this is so pretty Jenny. I too struggle with shabby chic - as Ang would say distressing distresses me ... lol! You have used so many elements which all fit together so well! Hope all is well with you. Hugs Christine xx

Hi Jenny! I spotted this just now and had to hop over and say how much I love this card, and also that it's great to see you using that butterfly stamps. LOVE it just in the sepia tone - perfick!
Thank you so much for your lovely comments Jenny, and Parsnip went all weakkneed and soppy/giggly :)

Looks to me as though you do Vintage just fine! Love this beautiful win (and congrats on that score too) and he looks perfectly perched on the swirls of that music embossing. Really like the composition of your card, and the swirly way you've cut the panels. The lattice effect of those die cuts that are peeking out at the edges look so pretty, as does the bright little badge you've tucked on there. It's beautiful, as always! Outside and inside. TFS & hugs too.
Morning Jenny, I absolutely love shabby vintage looking cards, and yours is fabulous, I love everything you have done on this card, gorgeous !!
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Jenny, Well I can't believe you feel out of your comfort zone doing this type of card. It's absolutely knock-out. You're right that is a lovely butterfly and I really like how you've used your dies and the little green floral embellishment looks gorgeous.
