RUDOLF CHALLENGE NOVEMBER 2015

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.
I would like to welcome my newest follower, and thank you for choosing to follow me.
I do hope you can visit as often your time allows.
Thank you also to everyone that continues to visit me on a regular basis you are so very kind, as I do know time is precious to all of us especially at this time of year.

Well it's time for the Rudolf Challenge over at Scrappymo's blog, and this is the last one of this year.
This challenge runs from the 25th of the month to the end of the month.
So I have 2 cards to show this time.
I wanted to dabble in some sort of mixed media.
Not sure if it was successful though, perhaps you can enlighten me as this is a bit out of my comfort zone.

These are both 8"x8" size cards.
This images are from the Crafters Companion Nordic Christmas CD.
The paper on the blue one is from the Pink Gem website.
The paper on the red one is from the Nordic CD.
I stippled some watered down Gesso on these so it looks like snow.
The red card I painted Gesso over glitter and glue to get the edge.
I do hope you like my dabble with mixed media of sorts.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES DT CARD.................GIVE THANKS

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Sorry I haven't been about much this week, but I have had a bad back, and also my knee has been giving me a lot of trouble, so I have been taking it easy, and resting so it doesn't get worse.

and it's Claire of the B Teams turn to host this challenge, and she has chosen the theme Give Thanks.
So here is my DT card made for this challenge.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The doily I cut out on my ScanNcut with the Tattered Lace USB stick.
I made the flowers and added some stamens to the centers.
The stamped sentiment is a Creative Expressions one.

OLDIE FOR FRIDAY

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
I am a bit late with my Oldie for Friday this week, as I have had quite a few things to do today, but I still wanted to support Erika HERE
with an Older Christmas Card I made a few years ago.
This is just for fun, but a super way to bring back some of your older posts, and it doesn't have to be a card, it can be anything you have posted on you blog before.
Just comment on Erika's oldie, and she will return the comment.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I just love white on white cards, and was so pleased with how this turned out, and it got a very good response from all my blog friends too.

Thank you so much for sparing your precious time to visit me, and make such great comments.
I am continually blown away by how kind they are.

ANOTHER TISSUE BOX FOR THE BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, time, and all the wonderful comments you make.
I very much appreciate every one that is made.
I have made another Tissue Box this
time for the Butterfly Challenge Theme, and the letter is Q for Quadruple so I put 4 bows, and 4 butterlies on it.

The border round the top, and the corners I cut out on my ScanNcut.
The tulip paper is from the Cupcake
Crafting CD Floral Delights, by Andrew Hull.
I cut out, and decoupaged some tulips from the paper.

I do hope you have a wonderful day what ever you are doing.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

TISSUE BOX

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
I would like to welcome my 2 newest followers, and thank you for joining me on my crafty journey.
I do hope to see you here as often as your time allows.
Thank you also to all my loyal friends that regularly visit, and make such wonderful comments.
I very much appreciate them all.

Today I have a Tissue Box I made for the Allsorts Challenge as their challenge this week is anything but a card.
Now I haven't made one of these before so I am quite proud of myself as I have wanted to make one for ages, and chickened out a few times.

I have used some papers and card from my stash for this.
I made the roses on the front the way
Pamellia makes hers.
The leaves were made from a tip of John Lockwood's I heard about but
actually didn't see the demo.
Dies used below.

I do hope you all have a wonderful day what ever you are doing.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE No 42 Z IS FOR ZIG ZAG

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, and time.
This evening I have a card I made for the Butterfly Challenge, and the letter is Z for Zig Zag.
So here is what I came up with instead of putting Zig Zags on the card I spotted this Zig Zag die in my drawer.
Well it's not  called a Zig Zag die it's a Spellbinders Square Swatches Die,
but the edges were Zig Zagged so I used it with some snippets to make this card.

This is just under 4"x4" in size.
I embossed the brown snippets of pearlised card, and twisted the shape to give it a different look.
The small butterflies were the C&C
club gift last month, and they are
Tattered Lace.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments you make.
I so very much appreciate them all.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

This is a 7"x7" easel card.
The image, and the papers are from
a freebie in the Debbie Moore magazine I bought a few years ago.

100th BIRTHDAY CARD AND BOX

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, and time.
I really do appreciate that you take time out of your busy day to visit me, and make such great comments on my work.

Today I have a card I made for a neighbour who live in the sheltered flats close to me.
She is 100 years of age on the 2nd of December 2015.
So this is what I came up with for everyone that lives there to sign for her.

This is a 8"x8" size card and Box I made to fit it.
I made the roses from Pamellia's Tutorial  HERE.
I used the Sue Wilson Weaving Die Classic for the center of the Spellbinders Grand Circle Die.
I added some pearls on a string from Cuddly Buddly Crafts to the edges of the circle.
Inside I made pockets with stamped edged paper for everybody to sign.
I cut out the bow edging around the box on my ScanNcut.

Thank you again for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

CHRISTMAS CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
I do hope you have had a wonderful weekend.
Thank you for all the wonderful comments on my Remembrance Day card.
I have been making Christmas cards
recently and thought this one fits the bill for the Allsorts Challenge this week.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
The paper is from a paper pad bought from Hobbycraft last year.
Quite a simple design this one just
photo glued the paper to the card, and added some ribbon, sparkly trees, and a sentiment.

Thank you again for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, and time.
As today is Remembrance Sunday I always post a card to commemorate our brave Men and Women who fought and lost their lives so that we may try and live in peace.
So this is the card I made this year.
I thought I would go with a Poppy Wreath this year.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I made the poppies with a freebie stamp, and die of Sheena's that came with the Crafters Companion magazine.
I stamped them with Fired Brick DI, and then coloured them in with the same ink and a water brush.
I cut out the leaves on my ScanNcut,
with some snippets card, and then inked them with Pine Needles DI.
So I will be popping over to the playground with this.
The poppy paper is from the Creative Crafting World CD A walk in the Countryside.

Thank you again for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

PINK GEM GUEST DESIGN......................CHRISTMAS CRITTERS

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.
Well today sees my 2nd post as Guest Designer for the
PINK GEM CHALLENGE BLOG
I have really enjoyed joining the Design Team of the Pink Gem Challenge, as if you know me well I do love their wonderful images, and card kits as they are such good value for money, and besides they always are so cute too, as well as excellently designed.
Take a look at the Design Teams wonderful creations for some inspiration if you need it.
So here is what I came up with for
this challenge that wants to see Christmas Critters.
I decided to make another shaped card on my ScanNcut for this.

This is just under an A4 size.
I decoupaged the bow, her snout and mouth, her body, paws, and the candy cane, and then used stickles to glitter them.
I added a sentiment to her paw.
I reversed the image on the ScanNcut,
and made a card out of it.

I glued a couple of shapes together with photo glue to make it sturdy.

I added some Pink Gem papers from their website to the inside with photo glue, and edged it with a Pro-Marker.

Thank you so much for your visit, and time.
I do hope you have time to join this wonderful challenge, and see what the other Design Team have been up to.
I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

OLDIE FOR FRIDAY

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful comments that you make.
I very much appreciate them all.

Well Friday rolls around so quickly again, and it's time to share an Oldie with ERIKA for this week.
To join us just post a creation you have posted on your blog before, and leave a comment on ERIKA'S post, and she will comment on yours.
This is all just for fun, but a delightful way to show your older things posted before.
It doesn't have to be a card it can be anything you have posted before.
So here is mine a Christmas card I made in 2012.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The image was a freebie off the internet, and coloured with Pro-Markers.
I made the round beaded thing in the center of the bow, and the stick pin.

Thank you so much for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.   JENNY.

ANOTHER CHRISTMAS CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Spent yesterday looking after my little great grandson who is 7 months old.
He is so good, and no trouble at all, and I enjoyed every minute as he is such a content baby, my granddaughter had so much trouble with his sisters when they were little.
They didn't like shopping or the car, and used to cry,and play up while she
was either shopping or in the car going any where.
I must admit I never had those problems with my 3 at all.
So perhaps I was one of the lucky ones.

Today I have another Christmas card
to show you.

This is a A5 size card.
I must admit I don't make many of this size card, as I do love square cards which you may have noticed.
Papers and the image are from the Crafters Companion CD Nordic Christmas.
I embossed the backing paper with
the similar embossing folder, and inked the edges.

Thank you for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE...................N IS FOR NUMBERS............. AND SNIIPETS CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
I would like to welcome my newest follower, and thank you for choosing to follow me.
I do hope you can visit as often as your time allows.

Was looking after my granddaughter yesterday as her school doesn't go back till today.
We did lots of crafty bits at my house.

Well I am just about making the
Butterfly Challenge as it's about to close in 11 hours phew.
I struggled to think of something unusual for this time around and
suddenly last night thought of this design.

I cut the shape of this card with my
ScanNcut.
Added some Butterfly card printed off the Crafters Companion CD Cute Companions to make it a little more sturdy.
I decoupaged some of the butterflies, and added some stickles to them.
I coloured my lace with a Pro-Marker
as it was the wrong colour pink.
I used some snippets of white and pink card for my my sentiment and the die cut.
So I'm off to join in the Snippets
Playground with this.

Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
