Sorry I am back with another post today as I want to join in the Allsorts Challenge for this week, and tomorrow will be my post for the MAWTT DT.
Oh my what a busy week this week.
So here is a Silver Wedding Anniversary card and box I made for my daughter, and her fiance's friends.
This is a 8"x8" size card and box I made to fit.
I cut out my doily and then used spray glue, and glittered it, but unfortunately the glue shows up slightly pink in the photo, but not on the actual card.
I cut out a silver linen backing in the same design for the matting.
Threaded some silver ribbon through the doily and added some lace daisies, and a lovely metal patterned heart that was given to me by one of my sister's jewellery making friends.
I then added some lace butterflies to the corners.
These can be bought at Cuddly Buddly Crafts.
The corners and the hearts around the box were cut on my ScanNcut.

I'm with Kathleen, I thought the butterflies were lace as well. They such a lovely extra detail, as does the other pretty lace, to this gorgeous card. Love the layers and all the silvery goodness you've added to this so special milestone anniversary. Love it! TFS & Hugs

You’re very talented to have crafted this amazing wedding card. It was nice that you chose the silver color for the card to match the silver wedding anniversary idea. I’m also making a wedding card for my cousin, who’s getting married in a few days at one of the famous wedding venues Los Angeles.
