MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES DT CARD................BIRDS AND FEATHERS

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Today starts another challenge over at
and it's the B Teams turn, and Jackie is our lovely host this time around, and she would like to see Birds and Feathers on you entries please.
The challenge runs from 13/4/17 and closes on Wednesday 26/4/17 at 6PM.
This is just for a Top 3 Badge, but we all love to see your wonderful creations entered.
So here is what I came up with.

This is a 8"x7" size tent card.
The bird paper was a freebie download from the C&C club website I just love the colour.
Now I made a bit of what Darnell calls a Boo Hoo as I stuck the paper down, and then decided to frame it, but the frame was too short for the size card so I improvised with the top die cut and feathers to cover it up, and I was quite pleased how it turned out in the end.
So this was what we call a happy accident.

Now I have funny tale to tell about the wet room.
DH and I sat and talked about who was going to use the new shower first yesterday morning, I said you can be the Guinea Pig.
Well he turned the shower on and no water went down the drain hole ooops nearly had a flooded wet room.
The fitter forgot to tell us he had turned off the pump that extracts the water.
After a few frantic calls we were told where to find the pump switch.
Only could happen to us. lol.

Thank you so much for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Oh WOW!!! I’m blown away by this card Jenny… the bird and paper are so beautiful. I can’t imagine this card without the beautiful top die cut and feathers - they really make this card special. what a very happy accident… love it when that happens in crafting.
I'm glad you've got your wet room sorted - I'm very curious about the pump as we have wet room and terrible problems with drainage! will have to google the pumps as I've never heard of them!
I like your DH saying btw - it really describes my life of late!! I'm getting a few things sorted, just hope no more crop up now!! Lol.
Hope you have a lovely Easter!
Lots of Love, Sue B xx

Gorgeous, and I love the shades of blue with this marvelous bird. Enjoyed reading about the Boo-boo save, and my, the valance frame turned out just beautifully, adding so much extra detail & dimension. I LOVE it! (and of course that bird!) Enjoyed hearing the shower story...sounds like something we would have happen. Glad to hear problem solved, and you can enjoy the new shower with no worries. Hugs, TFS & Happy Easter.
