Hi and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.
I am back again today as it's the first of the month and time for a new challenge over at
The theme this month is
SPRING IS COMING,
chosen by our lovely Christine, as it's March.
Now luckily I didn't have to make a card especially for this theme as I had made one for my Stepdaughter who had a severe stroke just after New Years, and I wanted to make a card that cheered her up.
She is home now and having physio, but was only 57 which I think is quite young.
Thankfully her Dad was not here to worry about her.
She also caught covid while in the hospital which I was not happy about.
So here is the Spring themed card I made her.
This is a 8"x8" size card.
The card stock is from Hunkydory Garden Treasures.
In the kit you had some plant pot cards you could make.
I decided to put one on the front of the card with lots of Spring Flowers in it.
Please pop along to the challenge blog to see the wonderful creations made by my Team Friends and enter if you can.
Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.
I really appreciate every visit and wonderful comment.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

A pretty card and sure to please . Hugs Mrs A.
Oh my word Jenny, your step daughter has been through it! A stroke at such a young age is always shocking but then to catch COVID while in the hospital is awful! I hope she is recovering well and pray there is no lasting effects from either the stroke or COVID. Your card for her is just stunning! It is cheerful as well and I'm sure it brought her a lot of joy. Sending big hugs, Brenda
My prayers for your stepdaughter. What a young age to have all this on her. I hope she is recovering now. Your card will definitely cheer her up, it is stunning. The colors are so cheerful and happy and I love the spring garden and tulips. Just lovely.

Hi Jenny, I am so sorry about your Step-daughter, she was very young to have suffered a chronic stroke, and then to catch Covid whilst in hospital, how awful for her and you all. My heart went out to you when I was reading your write-up. Thankfully she is getting physio, I hope everything goes well for her.
Your Get Well Soon card is so pretty and I'm sure it cheered her up.
Take care.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

O mundo está nas mãos daqueles que têm a coragem de sonhar e correr o risco de viver seus sonhos.
What a beautiful card Jenny, full of spring promise and sure to brighten your Step Daughters day. What a dreadful time that must have been for you all. I had a very scary episode myself last June and was whisked off in an ambulance after Martin realising I had lost my memory. Thankfully scans and investigations revealed that it was not a stroke but it was extremely scary nonetheless and I still do not recall the events of that morning!! I wish her a speedy recovery and hope that you are doing okay as well xx
