RUDOLF DAYS CHALLENGE ....JULY 2022...DT CARDS

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

Sorry the Rudolf Challenge will not start till tomorrow the 26th.

I went away to my Son's house to help my Daughter look after his dogs at the begining of July while they were on holiday.

While there I went to my Great Granddaughter's play as it was her last year in junior school.

On coming home from my Son's I got the Covid not sure where I caught it from as my Granddaughter and her friend who attended never got it.

Getting better as each day passes just a tickly cough now and then, and I can't smell or taste anything either.

As it's the 25th of the month and time for another Rudolf Days Challenge over at

SCRAPPYMO'S BLOG

The challenge runs from today till the end of the month as always it's anything goes as long as it's Christmas.

ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.

But you may put more than one card in your one post if desired.

Here is what I made when I was feeling a little better.

These are both 7"x6" size tent style cards.

The shaped die used is a John Lockwood Die, and I was watching a demo on You Tube of him making a Christmas card with his Christmas set which is very much like this one so I got inspired to make a Christmas one with the one I had already.

This is the first time useing this die and I am pleased how they turned out.

The card stock used is from some pads of coloured card and paper bought from Hobycraft.

The leaping deer was coloured with a Tonic glitter pen on the first card and the original colour on the second card.

Sentiment die I think Maureen sent me.

On the second card I used a flower I made from my stash which I thought looked like a Christmas Rose.

Thank you for your visit and precious time.

I really appreciate every visit and wonderful comment you make.

Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

Oh, no, Jenny, I'm so sorry to hear you caught Covid, but glad to know the worst is over. Phew! I can't imagine what it's like not to be able to smell or taste. Another friend described the lack of taste as feeling like she was chewing water. I hope it comes back soon. In the meantime, it certainly did not lessen your talent for card art! These are both exquisite with tons of incredible schparkle and detail! Hugs, Darnell

One of the Dispensers Husband has it and so has one of the Practice Nurses. we won't have any staff soon!! It's certainly made the patients chuckle!! Anyway, your amazing layered cards...wow, such lovely designs and fabulous colours xx

Beautiful cards Jenny, hope you’re feeling better.
Covid entered our house too, not nice, still tire easily. Frustrating isn’t it, having steered clear of it all this time, but so many are suffering the same fate, take care xxx

Two stunning cards Jenny, I love all of the glitter. Sorry to hear you've been unwell with Covid. Glad to say when I had it I didn't loose any senses, but I did have the tickly cough left over for a couple of weeks.

Absolutely stunning cards Jenny and I especially adore the gold one. Sorry to hear about you catching Covid. We managed two years free before it finally caught up with us back in February. Our daughter has had it for the first time over the last couple of weeks and she’s been really poorly with it, bless her. I wish it would just fizzle out but it doesn’t show much sign of doing that at the moment. Take it easy x
