RED CHRISTMAS CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends and visitors.
I do hope you have all had a fabulous weekend.

Thank you for all your comments on my last
card. I am so glad you all liked it so much.

Well I got my thinking cap on again for this
creation.
I hope you like it, and the colours come out on
your computer as vibrant as mine.
The red card I used was from a batch I bought
from Lidls supermarket thanks to Mrs Ducks
info on it. So thank you Mrs Duck for pointing
me to this fab buy.

Now the inside.

This is an 8"x8" size card.
The papers I used were from a Robert Addams
Christmas CD.
I remembered a couple of years ago on C and C
Chloe showing a beautiful card with  this
pleating technic, so I thought I would have a go.
My shape is different to the one shown on
C and C, but that's where I got the idea.
I did this with a Hougie Board.
I decided to stamp and heat emboss the Grand
Circle I had cut out.
I added a Pink Gem Calender to the center,
and inside.
I also stamped the verse inside too.

Thank you again for your visit.
I do hope you all have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving

Well another weekend is here already, my how time is marching on to the C time of year.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog,
and making such great comments on my work.

£200 pounds for the Macmillen Nurses.

My card today is one I made quite quickly last
night for one of my granddaughters who has
just passed her test.

Now the inside.

This is a 4"x4" size card.
I matted the card with some black card.
I then cut out 16 Spellbinders Parisian Corner
Die pieces, and glued 4 of them back to back,
to create the squares you see.
I put 4 on this card, then added some black
pearls from my stash.
I added a congratulations banner, and did my
usual inside.
I do hope you like this as I love the all different
designs it makes on the card.

Now I have a lovely card sent to me by my
lovely and wonderful little blogging matey
Sue J or Olliesmam. She sent me this beautiful
card and some lovely stamped images to colour.

FOLDED PAPER CHRISTMAS TREE

H i and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends and visitors.

Thank you soooooo! much for all your lovely
comments on my little box of cards.
Now I have made a mistake silly me and forgot
the envelopes, typical of me, so I now have the
task to make the envelopes to fit the cards, as I
don't have that size in my stash.

Well I have been quite busy today with baking
for the Macmillen  coffee morning tomorrow,
and looking after my great grandchildren for
a couple of hours this afternoon.

Yesterday I made a mistake with one of the
challenges I entered.
I got the wrong end of the stick as usual.
The Frugal Christmas Card challenge was
supposed to be a Christmas card made out of
something that isn't already a Christmas image,
or die or such like. You can use Christmas
paper and a sentiment, but he embllishment
or Christmas item should be made out of
something that is not Christmas.
So here is what I decided to make.

This is a 5"x5" size card.
I coloured the edges with a promarker.
I embossed the dark green card with the
Special Touch Mica Mask Ivy Background,
but I used the other side of it this time, because
I thought it looked a bit like holly.
I then cut my Christmas paper into 2" /2" and a
half, and 3" squares. I used the 3" square twice
on the bottom of the tree.
I then folded it like you would tea bag folding.
glued them all together and added some very
small buttons and a ribbon.
I hope you like my idea, the tree folds fairly
flat for posting..

Thank you again for visit and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

A LITTLE CHRISTMAS BOX AND CARDS

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends and visitors.

May I say a big welcome to my latest follower,
and thank you for becoming a follower, and I
hope you like what you see, and return many
times.

Thank you every one for your wonderful
comments on my snippets cards.

I am on a roll now and decided to make a small
box and 6 small Christmas cards to go inside.
All out of snippets from my other cards I have
made.
Now those of you that know my work know I
find it very hard to do minimal. lol.
Well wallah I think I have managed it this
time. lol.

This little set is just under 4 inches square.
The Christmas Tree Die was a freebie with a
crafting magazine.
I embossed  the front of my cards with the
Special Touch Mica Mask Ivy Background.
Now I don't think this looks like ivy at all,
more like small leaves.
Added a gold Christmas peel off and wallah
a quick and easy project.
I also stamped a little Christmas verse inside
with gold pigment ink, but I forgot to
photograph it.  Too eager to show you peeps.

Thank you again for your visit.
I do hope you all managing to craft lots! and lots!

ANOTHER SNIPPETS CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends and visitors.

Thank you for your visit and comments, I very much appreciate every one you make.

The weather here in the East of Kent has been
like summer again for the last 4 days.
I do hope you are all experiencing the same
heat wave where ever you live.

I have another snippets card to show you.
I am really getting into the swing of using up
all my left over bits from other card or projects
I have made.

This is a 6x6 size card.
I made it with left over pieces of paper from
another project.
The actual card was left over from another card
I made, and the die cuts were cut out and not
used on a project. Even the ribbon was left
from another card.

Thank you again for your visit.

SNIPPETS EASEL CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends and visitors.

Thank you soooooo much for your visit and
wonderful comments.

Today I am joining in with a challenge I have never entered before.
The challenge is to use up snippets of left over
paper or card from other cards you have made.
So here is my attempt, I made this card mainly
with bits left over from a previous cards, the only
thing that I haven't used before is the gold doily.

The card is a 6x6 size.
I made the card from bits of card left over
from my Holly Fairy Card.
Even the card it's self was the left over bit.
I had to join the paper as it wasn't big enough
so I put some ribbon down the join.
I think this idea of using up your bits from left
over projects is fab.

Thank you again for your visit.
I hope you all have a wonderful crafty day.

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends and visitors.
I do hope you have all had a fab weekend.
Well it's the start of  another new week.

Thank you for all your kind  words on my last
card and box.
It really boosts my confidence to know you
like my work.

My daughter moved house this weekend so
I made this card for her, and her partner.
I do like how this one turned out.

Now the inside.

This is an 8x8 size card.
The paper was a freebie from a craft magazine,
a few years ago. I just copied it so I had 3 sheets
for my card.
I punched out 4 Martha Stewart round doilies
with her circle punch.
I distress inked the edges with Spun Sugar and
Peacock Feathers Distress Inks.
I distress inked the flowers too and added some
pearls.
The sentiment and saying in the middle were
from a paper stack magazine I bought.

Thank you for your visit.
I do hope you all have a wonderful crafty day.

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends and visitors.
I do hope your weekend is going well, and that
you are all feeling okay.

Thank you for the comments on my shopping
bag.

I have a card and box I was asked to make for
a lady that contacted me, she was so impressed
with my blog that she wanted me to make a
card and box for her Sons 21st Birthday.
She said he was a fan of anything vintage.
So this is what I came up with.

Now the inside.

The box.

This is a 8x8 size card and box to fit.
I distress inked the white card with Antique
Linen Distress Ink to make it look vintage.
I matted with kraft card, and then cut out my
Grand Labels 1with gold mirri.
I then cut out the slightly smaller size in white
thin card and distressed this with Tea Die
Distress Ink.
I then randomly stamped vintage images all
over to make it look like bought paper.
I added a computer sentiment to the  Nesting
Labels 1.
Finished my card off  with a Kanban Vintage
Topper, and some buttons from my stash.
The box I made to match with doubled up
card to make the box stronger , and then
decorated it to match.
The lady in question was very pleased with
the result.

Thank you again for your visit.
I hope you all have a wonderful crafty day.

pigment ink and a sponge to give it an old gold
look to it.

ANNIVERSARY CARD

Hi and welcome dear blog friends and visitors.
Well it's a start to another new week.
I do hope you all enjoyed your weekend.
On Sunday I was busy in the garden getting
all scraggly summer bedding thrown into the
compost bin, and planting bulbs and winter
pansies
So now I have one awful back ache, it's all
those muscles you don't use, until you do the
gardening.lol.

Thank you for your wonderful comments on
my last card.
I really am sooooooo grateful you take the
time to visit me.

My card is one that took me a while as I
couldn't quite get the look I wanted.
So I put it on a back burner so to speak, and
then late Sunday afternoon it all came together.
I hope you like it as much as I do.
My Son and his wife celebrate their anniversary
today and have spent the weekend in Paris.
So this is what I came up with.

Now the inside.

This is an 8x8 size card.
I made the paper by distressing it with Antique
Linen Distress Ink, then I stamped the patterns
all over the paper with Creative Expressions
Stamp called Ivy. In this stamp set you get
Ivy and the a lovely scrolled corner stamp,
which I used for this. I also used the Creative
Expressions Carte Postale stamp of the Eifeel
Tower.
The image is a Mo Manning one coloured in
with Promarkers.
I added some black lace, which I cut up and
used in the corners.
Some Organza Roses and some pearls from my stash .
I used some lacy material behind the image, and
for the bow. This was given to me by my
wonderful blog friend Sue P, and I got the idea
for the bow on Sue Js blog.

Thank you again for your visit.
I'm off the the hospital with DH today, and then
it's singing parctice this afternoon.
So I will visit you all in the evening.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I so love being part of this crafting community.

Well we had half an hours rain today, not enough
to fill a washing up bowl. lol.
So keep dancing Christine, I'll buy you new
dancing pumps when they wear out. lol.

I now have my cable lade through the loft to
get me on the internet again in my craft room.
So I'm a happy bunny again, as the dinning
chair gave me a dead leg, and I had to keep
getting up and walking around.

I have an old card again to show you that I
have never shown before, at least I don't think
I have. lol.
