CASTLE RUINS ON THE HILL

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also a welcome to anyone who just pops by to look at my work.

Now at the beginning of the year I promised myself I would use more of my stamps as I subscribe to the Creative Stamping Magazine, and I get lots of stamps with each issue.
Last month I received the stamps I used in this card, and thought they would be excellent to use for the Allsorts Challenge this week.
So I created this scene card, and am very happy with how it turned out.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
Now I hope this fits the theme as I thought the little deer looked like a baby one.
Made a mistake as I should have stamped the deer first, and then masked it off to create the scene so I went with fussy cutting it out and adding after.
I inked dusted my sky and grass, but wasn't happy with the grass result so I water coloured it with inks and water.
I also water coloured the deer, and the tree too.
Stamped some clouds in white, and the flock of birds with London Fog Ink.
I used the London Fog for the castle ruins too.
Grasses were stamped with lots of different colour greens.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate each visit, and comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges.

RUGBY BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I do hope you are having a great weekend.

Now as the Rugby starts today, and hubby is sat watching it so I thought I would show you a card I made for my Granddaughter's Hubby.
He is a sports teacher in a school, and played Rugby in Uni.
So this card I made for his Birthday which was back in October last year.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I found the image on the Internet, and then I made the backing paper on my 3D2 CD from the image.
I decoupaged the image of the rose found some images of a Rugby Ball and Boots on another CD.
His name I die cut 3 times and glued together to make it stand out better.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

OLDIE FOR FRIDAY

Hi and welcome to another Friday Oldie with ERIKA HERE.
It's all just for fun, but delightful way to show something you have made earlier in you crafting life.
I can't believe how quick these Fridays come around, or is just me slowing down to a snails pace.
I am having a few probs with meds which makes me feel very tired and sleepy all the time so it's taking me a lot longer to get everything done, but the doctor doesn't want to change them as they are the 4th lot I have tried, and the sleepy is not as bad as some of the other side effects I have had.
So onto my Oldie for this week, I am not sure if I have shown this before so excuse me if I have.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The image is from the Pink Gem Website, and coloured with Promarkers, and Flexmarkers.
Papers are from Papermania Heather Collection.

Thank you so much for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BIRTHDAY CARD FOR MY GRANDSON

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
I do hope you are enjoying your weekend so far, and the weather is being kind to you.

Now tomorrow is my Grandson's 17th Birthday, and I was stumped for a while what to put on his card, that I haven't used before.
Until I came across this digi image, and thought it quite appropriate for him as all young peeps like burgers.
I struggled with the colour for the bread bun, but hopefully you think it looks okay.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The digi image can be purchased from a site called From the Heart.
The papers are a download from Cuddly Buddly.
I used Promarkers to colour it in, and then used Glossy Accents over the tomato sauce bit.

Thank you so much for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends,
and visitors.
Thank you for all your recent comments.
I very much appreciate everyone that you make
as I know time is precious to all of us.

Today I have a Christmas card I made.
The colours are quite unusual for a Christmas
card so I hope you like it.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The image is from the Squeeze Cards Christmas
Cottage Delights CD.
I have used Cosmic shimmer White pva glue
dots round the edge.
The snowy bits are done with Cosmic Shimmer
Iced Snow.
The Happy Christmas die cut was a freebie
from a craft magazine, and I offset it slightly in
the 2 colours.

Thank you for your visit, and I hope you all
have a wonderful weekend.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

ANNIVERSARY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends,
and visitors.
I do hope you all have had a lovely weekend,
and the weather has been kind to you.

Today I have a card I made for my
Granddaughter, and her husband for next week.
I can show it as I know she doesn't look at my
blog.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I made the flowers out of my Spellbinders
Rose Creations Die, and am quite pleased with
how they turned out, as I like to get more than
one flower from my flower dies.
I used the Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue dots in
silver round the edges, and I like how they
look blue to go with the card.

Thank you for your visit, and your precious
time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

SUMMER TIME CONCERTINA CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends,
and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, and the
wonderful comments you leave.
I very much appreciate everyone that is made.

I enjoyed making my last card so much I thought
I would make another to join in the Pink Gem
Challenge.
They want to see creations with a summer theme
so here is what I came up with.

This is a 7"x7" size concertina card.
The papers I down loaded ages ago, and I can't
remember where they were from.
I glued them to pink card with Collall Photo
Glue.
The image is a Hunkydory one again, and the
little girl with the ice cream is a Pink Gem
Image I chose when I won this challenge last
month.
These are so easy to make, and I know there is
a concertina die, but I haven't got that, and to be
honest I don't think you need it.

Thank you again for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

RUDOLF CHALLENGE CARD FOR APRIL 2015

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land, all my
very talented friends, and visitors.

Sorry I have been missing for a day or so, but
I have had some sad news from my eldest sister,
and didn't feel much like blogging.
You may remember those of you who have known me longer, that she had a brain tumor about 5
years ago and came through that okay except for
lots of meds she has to take.
Well now she has told me she has bowl cancer.
So lets hope the outcome of this op when she has
it turns out as good.
Her hubby had a similar op about 15 years ago,
and has been fine ever since.
I don't know they have had their fare share of
health probs between them, especially my sister.

Today I have my card for the Rudolf Challenge
for April, which starts on the 25th of each
month and ends on the end of the month.
It's a jolly good way of making your Christmas
cards before the rush at the end of the year.
If you would like to join us, details of the
challenge at the bottom of my post.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
Not really pleased with the result of this card.
I used the Sue Wilson embossing folder
Swirling Holly for the background.
The poinsettia is a made from the Sizzix Die
called Susan Garden.
Should have made it with paper not card as I
am not happy with it, so memo to ones self to
use paper next time.

Thank you for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BABY BOY CARD AND BAG

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land all my
talented friends, and visitors.
Did you remember your clocks ?
We have so many that it takes my DH ages to adjust the times as he loves to mend old clocks,
as a hobby, so you can imagine, how many there
are dotted around my house.
He is currently renovating a lovely very old
American shelve clock.

Not nice weather in my part of Kent today, so I
do hope it's better wherever you may live.

Here is my card, and bag I made for my Granddaughter's new baby boy.

The card is a 8"x8" size as usual, and a bag
made to match, out of A3 PMD card stock.
The papers on the card are from Joanna Sheen
Baby Love CD which you can no longer buy.
I also printed out New Baby Arrival cards from
the same CD, which I added to the inside, and on the front of the card.
I put the photo of Ewan behind a frame I bought
from C&C many moons ago in a big set of
chipboard card embellishments.

Thank you for your visit, and the wonderful
comments you make.
I very much appreciate your precious time as I
know time is precious to all of us, especially
those of you that still work, and blog.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

TUMBLE TED GOLF BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors, who may just visit.

Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.
I really do appreciate your visit, and precious time.

Well I have been missing again, as it was my
Birthday on Monday, and I had a very lovely day,
and I went out for lunch too.
I was 66 so my DH kept saying all day clickety
click, and he doesn't even play bingo. lol.

Now the weather has turned to spring like some
days I am trying to get my garden in shape, as it
was neglected last year due to my slipped disc.
I have to do a little , and then have a rest, as I
can't bend for long, and I don't want a repeat of
last years trouble.
So I am sorry if I don't post so often, but I have
plenty of cards made to show as I have quite a
few family Birthdays in March.
Talking about which this one I made for my
eldest sister's husband, who loves all sports.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The papers and the image were printed from
the Tumble Ted Pastimes CD which I bought
for a bargain of £1, from Creative Crafting World.
Hope you like my design I came up with.
Not happy with the golf ball which I used glossy
accents on.
I used some snippets of card I had already printed
on one side, and didn't like the result, so I printed
on the back so hopefully this qualifies me to join
in the playground this week.

Thank you again for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

GRANDSON'S ARSENAL BIRTHDAY CARD AND SHOW CASE NECKLACE

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land, all my
friends, and visitors that may drop in.
Thank you so much for your visit, time, and wonderful comments you make.
I very much appreciate them all.

It was my Grandson's 11th Birthday on Wednesday, and he is a goalie for his local team,
and he also supports Arsenal, I bought him
a Arsenal Away Jersey for his present.
SoI thought I would go with this theme for his card.

Now here is a picture of the necklace my sister
made me.
This time it was my eldest sister who made this one.

I am very lucky to have such wonderful and talented sisters, who make me superb jewellery.

The card is a 8"x8" size.
The backing paper was made with my quite old
CD called Decoupage 2.
I used some snippets of card to die cut and stamp
the sentiment.
So I'm off to the snippets playground a bit late
this week.

Thank you again for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Hi and welcome to my blog, all my very talented
friends, and visitors that may pop in.
Sorry I have been missing this week but it's been a very hectic week for me, with lots to do and not
a lot of time to do it.
Plus I was not feeling to well either which slowed
me down even more than usual.

So it's Friday again and time to share your older
creations with ERIKA HERE
There is so much fun in bringing back your
Older creations, and some of your newer followers
may not have seen these.
So come on have a go I know it's just  for fun, and
no prizes, but a very good idea.
So here is mine for this week.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The papers are from the Dessert Blooms Pad.
The digi image is a Mo Manning one, and
coloured with Promarkers, and Flexmarkers.
I do miss being able to colour in images, but my
eyes are not good enough to see the lines
properly now.
Still waiting for my eye op, so maybe after I can
resume colouring in.

Thank you kindly for your visit, and time.

BUTTERFLY AND SNIPPETS CHALLENGE CARD

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land all my
craft loving friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.
Your visit and comments make posting so worthwhile, and I love to get your feed back on
what I create.

Been looking after my Grandson, and Granddaughter today as it's half term week.
Gran was asked to do some baking with them,
so my 7 year old Granddaughter made a chocolate
frosted cake, and her brother Dylan who is nearly
11years old made a Lemon Drizzle his fave cake.
Sorry I forgot to take photos, silly me, but they
both turned out great.

Well on to my card.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
Sorry I can't remember the name of the embossing folder I used, as I can't find the packaging.
I think it was a Craftwell one though.
I cut holes around my debossed side, and threaded ribbon through it.
The butterfly is a Spellbinders one.
I added some Cosmic Shimmer White Glue Dots
around the edge, and in the middle too.

Thank you again for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends,
and visitors.
I would like to welcome my newest follower,
and thank you so much for choosing to follow
me, and I do hope to see you visit as often as
you can manage it.

I can't believe it's Thursday already just where
has most of this week gone.
I seemed to have slowed to a snails pace lately.

Well it's time to post a card for this fortnights
Butterfly Challenge, and I was asked by my
daughter to make her a 7 year anniversary card,
so I thought I would combine the both.
The challenge wants to see Valentines, and a
butterfly or butterflies on your card.
So here is my entry.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I covered my white card with red card, as I
didn't have the right size red card.
Then I cut out the trellis design on my ScaNcut.
This design I downloaded from John Bloodworth's blog the gentlemen crafter, so thank you so much
John for creating this design.
I cut out the 7 on my Cricut machine, and added
some red stones, and some flocked hearts.

Thank you for your visit and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BABY CARD AND BAG

Hi and welcome to my blog all my very talented
friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for all the wonderful comments, and welcome back wishes.
I very much appreciate all of them.

I'm back today with a Baby Card and Bag my
granddaughter asked me to make for a friend.
This Baby was born on New Years Day, and was
rushed into St Thomas's Hospital for heart surgery.
Surgery was very successful, and she was home in
about 4 or 5 days after the op.
Just amazing what the surgeons can do now.

This a 8"x8" size card and bag to fit.
The papers and the image are from the Joanna
Sheen Baby Love CD.
I cut out the teddy border on my ScanNcut.
The pram on the bag is a Tattered Lace Die.
The bag is made from 2 sheets of A3 PMD card.

I used some snippets left over from the card on
the bag decoration, so I'm off to the snippets
playground to join in the fun.

Thank you for you visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

VINTAGE CAMELLIA CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my very talented
friends, and visitors.
I do hope you are all feeling fine, and for those
that may be feeling poorly, I do hope you will
soon be felling A1 again, so big get well wishes
winging their way to you.

Thank you for your visit time, and wonderful
comments you make on my creations.

Today I have a card that I pondered on for a
while, it's been lying around my craft room
unfinished for a few weeks now, and I
eventually finished a couple of days ago.
Still not sure if I like it, that's why it's taken me
so long to finish.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The paper is from a My Craft Studio CD.
I coloured my doilies with Antique Linen, and
Victorian Velvet DI, and then sprayed them
with a mixture of Mica powder, and water.
It doesn't show up in the photo well ,but it has
a lovely sparkle to it.
The Vintage Camellia's were made from a kit
I bought at the NEC in March, and can be
bought from the RIBBONBOX HERE.
The leaf shaped lace in the corner at the bottom
is also from the RIBBONBOX too.
The stone is actually a iridescent green sort of
black colour, but it shows up as blue in the photo.
The Mesh Ribbon in the top left corner is also
from the RIBBONBOX, and the center piece
I bought at the works.
I used some snippets up to mount my image on,
and that was from the Creative Crafting World
Walk in the Countryside CD.

Thank you again for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

SYMPATHY CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.

Thank you kindly for your visit and your
precious time, as I know time is precious to
all of us.
I really appreciate your visit and the wonderful
comments you make.

Today I have a sympathy card made for my
uncle's family.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
I stamped my Creative Expressions Sayings
Stamp with Versa Mark clear embossing ink,
and then heat embossed it with Sea Foam White
Embossing powder.
I die cut my Sue Wilson Peace Die, and used
the edges around a snippets piece of white card.
I did the same to the stamped sentiment.
I added some stamped corners to the white card
with Faded Jeans DI.
I also stamped a pattern inside the card with the
same DI.

Thank you again for your time and visit.
I won't be around blogging on Monday as I'm
going to my uncle's funeral.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
