BABY SHOWER CARD,BAG AND NAPPY CAKE

Hi and welcome to my blog all my very talented friends, and visitors that may just find my blog.

Well it's Saturday again already, and tomorrow I'm off to my Granddaughter's Baby Shower.
So here is the Card, Bag, and Nappy Cake I made her.
The Nappy Cake is an idea I borrowed from Hazel's blog which you will find HERE.
She make some amazing Baskets, Cards, Beer,
and Nappy Cakes.
So pay her a visit if you don't already do so, you
will be in for treat.

So here is my card, and effort at the Nappy Cake.

Well I should have warned you this is picture
heavy.
My Granddaughter never wants  to know
what sex the baby is before it's born, so hence
the Lemon Card, and white Nappy Cake, as I
couldn't find anything to go in, and on the top of
the Nappy Cake in Lemon.
The card is a 8"x8" size.
I used a combination of Sue Wilson, and Tattered
Lace dies.
The inside baby items, and the decoration on the
bag are all cut out on my ScanNcut.

Thank you for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Well done Jenny on your first nappy cake, you have made a great job of it, they aren't easy to put together when you first start, I wish I had a picture of my very first one! Love your card and bag. Your grand daughter will be well pleased.. I do think it's nicer to get a surprise baby, to me it's like knowing what the gift is before you open it??? I do think it's the thing with young ones these days they want every thing straight away, they can't wait and it's the same with their babies they want to know so they can buy the right colour etc. thankfully ours didn't. What a wonderful combination of gifts Jenny. Your grand daughter is a very lucky girl! I think it is lovely that she doesn't want to know the sex of the baby. When I was a midwife the birth was always so much more special and exciting when the sex was not known. It was a wonderful to answer that very exciting question - Is it a boy or a girl! Hope you are well. Hugs Christine xx

Hi Jenny, What a fabulous idea !! I didn't understand what a nappy cake was until I followed your link. So glad that there are still some girlies who want a surprise when they give birth, your Grand-daughter will be 'over the moon' with these gifts, they are gorgeous !!
My youngest Grand-daughter is due to have her baby next month and she is having a girl, she was over the moon when they told her.
Enjoy your weekend.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
