PEACOCK BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.
I would like to say a very warm welcome to my newest follower, and thank you so much for joining me in my crafty journey.
I do hope you can visit when ever your time allows.
I would also like to say a big
THANK YOU to all my followers that always visit me on a regular basis, and leave such heart warming comments on my work.

Today I have a card  I made just because I loved the image.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The card I used was from Hunkydory's first set of images all done with a mirri finish, and they are all so gorgeous too.
As the card was so pretty to start with, I just added some die cut flowers, a corner die cut, and some seam binding ribbon that I dyed with Peacock Feathers DI.
Sadly the mirri finish doesn't show up much in the photo.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE NO 52....................F IS FOR FANCY FOLDS AND OR FUCHSIA

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.
They are all very much appreciated.

Today I have a card I made for the Butterfly Challenge which this time around is F is for Fancy Folds, and or Fuchsia.
So here is what I made yesterday for it.

This started out as a 8"x8" size card, and then I just created the folds on it.
The bottom fold is 1 and half inches
the next fold is 2 and half inches, and the third fold is 4 inches, and the largest on the right is 6and half inches.
The width of the card is 8".
I used the Sue Wilson Austrian Border Die for the die cuts.

Thank you again for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

RUDOLF CHALLENGE CARD JULY 2015

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends,
and visitors that may just visit.
I do hope your weekend is going well, and you are experiencing good weather.
In my part of Kent it's been raining most of the night, and I'm not sorry it was, as we don't seem to get much rain in this part of Kent, and my water butt was empty.
Also when it doesn't rain for a long time I have
to water my plants with a watering can, and that is not good for my back.

So as it's the 25th of the month it's time for the
Rudolf Challenge again.
This runs from the 25th of the month to the end
of the month on Scrappymo's blog HERE.
Please try and join us as it's a great way to get
some Christmas Creations made before all the
rush of that season.
So here is mine.

This is a 8"x8" size tent card.
I used the the Christmas Squeeze Cards
Christmas Cottage Delights CD for the image.
I decoupaged the letter box,and the Robin added
some glitter to the snow.
I cut out the edges with a Sue Wilson Die.
Now this was too long for the area so I cut it
down a little and re-glued the ends.

Thank you for you visit, and the wonderful comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

RUDOLF CHALLENGE CARD FOR APRIL 2015

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land, all my
very talented friends, and visitors.

Sorry I have been missing for a day or so, but
I have had some sad news from my eldest sister,
and didn't feel much like blogging.
You may remember those of you who have known me longer, that she had a brain tumor about 5
years ago and came through that okay except for
lots of meds she has to take.
Well now she has told me she has bowl cancer.
So lets hope the outcome of this op when she has
it turns out as good.
Her hubby had a similar op about 15 years ago,
and has been fine ever since.
I don't know they have had their fare share of
health probs between them, especially my sister.

Today I have my card for the Rudolf Challenge
for April, which starts on the 25th of each
month and ends on the end of the month.
It's a jolly good way of making your Christmas
cards before the rush at the end of the year.
If you would like to join us, details of the
challenge at the bottom of my post.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
Not really pleased with the result of this card.
I used the Sue Wilson embossing folder
Swirling Holly for the background.
The poinsettia is a made from the Sizzix Die
called Susan Garden.
Should have made it with paper not card as I
am not happy with it, so memo to ones self to
use paper next time.

Thank you for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BABY CARD AND BAG

Hi and welcome to my blog all my very talented
friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for all the wonderful comments, and welcome back wishes.
I very much appreciate all of them.

I'm back today with a Baby Card and Bag my
granddaughter asked me to make for a friend.
This Baby was born on New Years Day, and was
rushed into St Thomas's Hospital for heart surgery.
Surgery was very successful, and she was home in
about 4 or 5 days after the op.
Just amazing what the surgeons can do now.

This a 8"x8" size card and bag to fit.
The papers and the image are from the Joanna
Sheen Baby Love CD.
I cut out the teddy border on my ScanNcut.
The pram on the bag is a Tattered Lace Die.
The bag is made from 2 sheets of A3 PMD card.

I used some snippets left over from the card on
the bag decoration, so I'm off to the snippets
playground to join in the fun.

Thank you for you visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

SUE WILSON'S HIGH AND LOW TECHNIQUE

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends,
and visitors.

Thank you for your visit, time, and wonderful comments you make on my work.
I very much appreciate all of them.

Wow can you believe my blog has gone back to
normal all on it's own.
I am so pleased it has, as I was too scared to
touch anything in case of doing more damage.
Don't know if it was anything to do with blogger.
Well enough of my blog probs, here is a card
I made for my Sister's Birthday using the High,
and Low technique Sue Wilson has demoed on
her blog.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I followed Sue's advice and used double sided
tape around the edges of my card, and then put
Creative Expressions Cosmic Shimmer polished
silk glitter turquoise on it.
Then I followed Sue's technique for the high and
low of the glitters on her Austrian Die.
The daisies are Tattered lace, and the leaves are
Sue Wilson's Finishing Touches Faux Quilled
Leaves.
I used up some snippets to cut out some of the
smaller die parts, so I'm off to join in the girls in
the playground.

Thank you for your visit, and a big thank you
also to those of you that offered me help.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

SHOE SHOPPING ANYONE

Hi and welcome to my blog all my lovely craft
loving friends, and visitors.

Sorry I have been missing, for this week, but lots
of things came up, and one thing led to another,
and here we are on Sunday again so soon.
Now you know when you haven't crafted for a
while, Mr Mojo thinks he is on holiday, and has
to be persuaded, to come back kicking and screaming.
I pondered on this card, and it was going to be
lots of different styles, and papers, before I actually got this design in my head.
It's for my step granddaughter's Birthday.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I used the Sue Wilson embossing folder Heart
Lattice on red card to go with the topper image.
The image is from the Hunkydory Decoupage
Pad, and it's actually oblong in shape, but I
decided to die cut it oval, as it looked nicer that
way.
The die cut round the oval is the same corner
dies as I have used in the corners.
So don't just think corners on your dies.
I used some snippets to mount the image on to
make it like card stock, and gems were snippets
too.
So I'm off to the playground to join in this weeks
antics.

Thank you for your visit, and wonderful
comments you always make.
Lots of crafty love.

RUDOLF DAY OCTOBER 2014

Hi and welcome to my blog all my friends, and
visitors.
Well I can't believe it's Rudolf Day again, just
where has the last month gone.
So now it's time to join Sarn HERE    with your
 Rudolf Day cards.
This challenge runs from the 25th to the end of
the month.
You need to make 2 Christmas cards to enter, so
come on and join in the fun, and then that's
another 2 off your Christmas list.
So here are mine.

These are 8"x8" size cards.
The red one was created with the Sue Wilson
Vintage Bauble Die, and the Austrian Collection
Tag from the Corner Border Tag Die.
I used Cosmic Iced Snow for the glitter background.
The 2nd one was a Pink Gem pre-coloured kit
which I decoupaged, and added Cosmic Shimmer
Iced snow, and Glacier Ice to the background.
I also used Polar White Flower Soft on the fur
on her boots, and some Cosmic White PVA glue
dots to the umbrella.

Thank you for you visit and time.
Lots of crafty love.
