CAMERA CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I would like to say a big welcome to my newest follower, and thank you so much for your interest in my work.

I do hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and the weather was kind to you.

Today I have a card I have been wanting to make for ages.
I have had the idea wandering around in my head for ages since I bought these new stamps, but for one reason or another never got the time to create it till yesterday.
It was my first time using masking fluid too.
I thought I would try that as I am not very good with cutting out a mask perfectly with my bad eyesight.
I think maybe it left the camera image looking a bit dull.
Perhaps I should have heat embossed it first, and can anyone tell me if I can use masking fluid on top of a heat embossed stamped image, as I'm not sure.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I started with a white card for my matt and layering, and inked round the edges with DOI in Fossilized Amber, Cracked Pistachio, Worn Lipstick, and Broken China.
Then on my top layer I stamped my camera with Versafine Black Onyx Ink, and masked it, and then stamped my splats with the same colour DOIs.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time it is much appreciated.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

PIXIES SNIPPETS PLAYGROUND.......GD CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I quite enjoy joining my friends at the
This is a challenge run by the lovely Di and her helper Parsnip.
The aim is to use up your mounting snippets of paper, and card amounted by creating your creations.
So when Di asked for people who would like to be a GD I put my name to the list of lovely playground friends who were interested.
So this week she kindly asked me if I would like to be her GD.
Of course I said yes, so thank you so much Di for inviting me to be your GD this time around, and thank you for all your hard work involved in this super challenge.
So here is the card I made out of my Snippets for my GD.

This card is a 5"x4" in size.
I started by cutting the shape of the card out of a 6"x6" card blank with my Couture Enchanted Escapes Die.
I used the next to largest die for the shape as there are 4 sizes to choose from.
Then I cut an aperture from my snippets with the smaller die.
I glued some more snippets left over from another project to the inside of the aperture.
Mounted the whole shape on foam pads for depth.
Cut out some small foliage that came with the die from more snippets, and added some gems, and butterflies given to me by Wendy a good blog friend, and I'm sure she makes these out of snippets too.
Finally I stamped my sentiment with London Fog Ink, and inked around the edges with Milled Lavender Ink.

Thank you so much for your visit, and your precious time.
I very much appreciate your visit, and comments.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

SISTER'S ANNIVERSARY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I would like to welcome my newest followers, and thank you so much for pressing the button to follow me.
I am not sure if some of you have blogs as I can't seem to find you so I can follow you also.
If you read this please let me know your  blogs if you have one.

Well it's nearly the weekend again, and where oh where has another week gone to.

We have had a bit of a mad week this week, and wanted to get some food shopping done, and it was one of those weeks when everything happened first of all I had my Grand Children Monday and Tuesday.
Then our immersion water heater broke down, but we weren't sure if it was the thermostat or the heater unit.
So it was like the there's a hole in my bucket song.
First the electrician, then the plumber to drain the water tank, and now we have to wait for the electrician tomorrow again, but did manage to shop this lunchtime thank goodness as supplies were getting to a desperate situation, as I hadn't done a big shop for a couple of weeks.
In between we were asked to perhaps bring our Daughter's fiance home from hospital too.

So here is the Anniversary card I made for my sister, and her husband which was on the 15th of this month.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The lovely coloured card is Hunkydory pearlised card.
I cut a circle aperture out of white card, and then added my lace die cuts glued to the inside of the aperture.
Finally I added some die cut filigree leaves to the outside edges that came with the Tattered Lace Shabby Offset Oval Die that I used for the lace.

Thank you so much for your visit , and precious time.
I really do appreciate every visit , and wonderful comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

RUDOLF DAYS GD ...................JULY 2017

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Today starts the
over at Scrappymo's blog.
The challenge runs from the 25th of the month till the end of the month.
As always it is anything goes as long as it's Christmas.
Only one entry per person.
Maureen always offer a lovely prize to the winner.
As I am GD this month here is my card.

This is the largest size Spellbinders Grand Circle die I used to make this round easel card.
The papers came from My Craft Studio CD Wonderful in White.
The die used is Tattered Lace Glisten in the Snow, and Christmas Flora.
I cut it out twice and glued it together to make it more sturdy, and then sprayed it with aerosol glue and then glittered it.
I also decoupaged the bow, and the bow tails.
I added a Snippet of yellow card behind the windows to make it look like the lights are on in the church.
The sentiment is a stamp I won on the Snippets playground.
I used both pearls and gems on this card as I do love to use them both for finishing touches.

Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.

ANOTHER TISSUE BOX

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I do hope you are having a good weekend, and the weather is being kind to you.
Spent most of yesterday making my little Great Granddaughter's Birthday cards as she is going on holiday before her Birthday on the 29th.
I usually have to make 3 cards one for me, one for my Daughter, and one for my Granddaughter too.

I noticed the Allsorts Challenge this time around is for Fancy Folds, and had a tissue box I made a while ago, and hadn't shown yet.

Anyone who would like to know how to make one of these, there is a tutorial on the top of my blog.

I used a few Cream Snippets for the die cuts so I will be joining my playgrounds friends also.

Thank you so much for you visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

THINKING OF YOU CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Sorry I have been missing for so long.
Hubbies extension to his  shed is up and running wonderfully now, and family has gone home.
I have also had some child minding to do with my Grandchildren as they are now on their summer hols.
Will be doing this on Monday and Tuesday next week also.
Then I have a break as Mum and Dad will be off with them separately for a few weeks.

Today I have a card I made a couple of days ago for the Allsorts Challenge, but haven't had time to post it.

This is a 8"x8" size tent style card.
I have used pearls and gems on this card as I do love using them both or individually as they both can just finish a project  perfectly.
The papers are a Cuddly Buddly download.
The lace insert in the circle is Snippets left over from another card I made.
So I will be joining my playground friends with this.
Used Glamour Dust around the edges, and glittered another piece of Snippets in the circle under the lace edges.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

FARIES AND MYTHICAL CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Just popped in to post my Allsorts Challenge card, which I made before my family came to stay, and to say sorry I am not about as with family here it is a bit hectic at the mo.
They came down to extend hubbies shed that hes does his hobbies in, and everything is upside down at the mo as we live in a small bungalow.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I used Graphic 45 papers to make my design.

Thank you so much for your visit and time.

GRANDDUAGHTER'S ANNIVERSARY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.

I do hope you are all having a good weekend, and the weather is being kind to you wherever you live.

Well when I mentioned my cards I had to make  I left my Granddaughter out, but luckily I made hers the week before last.

Now her Birthday is on the 14th and the same day as my other Granddaughter's 5th Wedding Anniversary.
So here is the Anniversary card I finished this morning, and I can show it as she doesn't look at my blog.

The card I used for this is Hunkydory Ombre card stock which is light blue at the top, and ending up green at the bottom.
I cut out a circle in white card, and the made a heart aperture with a Tonic die.
Then I used my Tattered Lace Shabby Offset Oval Die for the lacy pattern in the inside of the heart.
Had to cut it up so it would fit.
Then I cut out lots of little flourishes that came with the Square Shabby Offset Dies to go around the outside of the heart.
Made the flowers and inked them with DOI Broken China, and Cracked Pistachio
Hope you like it as I was quite pleased with how it turned out.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

MINI WRAP JOURNAL

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I have been working on this Mini Wrap Journal for a few days on and off  as I thought it was a lovely idea.
You can find the excellent tutorial HERE
if you would like to have a go your self.
Sorry this is picture heavy.

Here I made slanted pockets to put photos in.
In the middle here I made a flap pocket for more storage.

Then on the back of that I made a page with more storage with a magnetic catch.

The other thing I did was to stick more of the card stock to the inside of the covers to make them more sturdy.
Couldn't find any lined pages the size I wanted so I made my own.
All the papers used are from the 12x12 paper pad I bought at B&M for the grand price of £2.49, and it was double sided, and 250gsm, except for the Humming Bird cards in the centre and ribbon which is Heartfelt Creations.
The yellow card on the spine and the middle was snippets so I will be joining my playground friends with this.
I will also be joining the Butterfly Challenge as I have added a dangling key to my journal.

Hope you like my version as I do like trying something new quite often.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

This is a 8"x8" size card and box I made to fit the card.
The card image is a download from CraftsUprint and I just tweaked a few items.
On the inside I made up lots of little cards in the pockets for each individual to put their wishes on.
Carried some of the theme onto the matching box.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.

SPORTING BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I do hope everyone is feeling well, and for those who may be suffering in any way BIG HUGS winging their way to you.

Well July is one of the months that I have a lot of family Birthdays, and Anniversaries to make cards for.
2 Older Grandsons, and 2 Great Granddaughter's Birthdays.
My eldest Granddaughter's 5th Anniversary, and my sister's Anniversary.
Oh my word I better get a move on.
Funnily enough the Challenge Theme over at Allsorts is sport so with that in mind I made my one Grandson's Birthday cards.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The racing motor bikes image is from the Hunkydory little book of decoupage.
I made the motor bike backing paper with my 3D2 CD.
The Happy Birthday paper is a download from Cuddly Buddly Crafts.
Verse inside is from my Verse Editor CD.

Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful comments about my Granddaughter's picture.
It is her 5th Wedding Anniversary on the 14th of this month.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

ART DECO BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.

I do hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.
Today is my Daughter's Birthday, and she was going to see Adele tomorrow night, which was a present from her Daughter, but sadly it was cancelled so she will have to wait a little longer for the concert.
Still all was not lost as her fiance took her to see the show Wicked this afternoon I do hope she liked it.

So here is the card I made her for her Birthday as she loves Art Deco.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The image, and paper which was really an insert is from the Kanban Klikk USB.
The insert was quite pale so I printed it again on top of the first print to give it more colour.
The oval lacy die cut is a Tattered Lace one that I won on the Allsorts Challenge a couple of months ago.
Cut it out in blue also and used the top and bottom to fill up a gap.
I added a gem to her ring on her finger, and some glitter to her head dress.
Also I added some clear sparkle pen from Crafters Companion to her stole.
Lastly I die cut some flowers out of the card that was left.

Also here is a picture of my Granddaughter on her yearly outing to Ascot Ladies Day the other week.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
