CHRISTMAS EMBOSSED CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I am at the moment very busy making tissue boxes to sell at the Macmillan coffee morning on Friday, and the rest of the week I will be baking for it as well.

A couple of weeks ago Mrs Duck launched her new website where you can buy some crafty stash at reasonable prices if anyone is interested there is a Link on my side bar that will take you there.
Of course as Ang is a good blog friend I had to purchase didn't I.
I bought the John Next Door Rustic Frame embossing folder, and this is what I created with it.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I started by painting some white card with Starlight Paint Topaz to get my lovely bronze gold card.
Then I embossed it with John's embossing folder, and as it's a Nbus item I will be joining Darnell's Nbus Challenge.
Just matt and layered the different colour card.
Die cut my TL Poinsettia, leaves, and fir branches with the painted card.
The Christmas calendar is from the Pink Gem website.
Finished it off with a bow and some snowflakes cut from the painted card.
I am really pleased with how this turned out.

RUDOLF DAYS CHALLENGE GD SEPTEMBER 2017

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Well I have had and eventful couple of weeks here at Lawrence towers.
Our Internet connection was playing up, and eventually after lots of consultations we were sent a new router.
So while all this was going on I decided to tidy my craft room and reorganise my dies and other crafty stash.
Phew I am exhausted as it took me ages, and too much energy, plus having to stop, rest my back so I wouldn't have my usual back probs.
Well enough of my troubles.
It's that time again for the Rudolf Days Challenge over at
The challenge runs from the 25th to the end of the month, and as always it's anything goes as long as it's Christmas.
ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.
Maureen has a wonderful prize on offer for the winner as always.
So here is my GD card.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
I used lots of Snippets on this one.
The gold frame is cut from snippets, the craft card I used for the sand is snippets, the sky is snippets, the camels, and wise men were cut from a snippet of black, and  the the holly was cut from snippets.
Then I finally stamped and heat embossed my sentiment on some snippet.
The circle wreath die I used for the scene is a Nbus one so I will be joining Darnell's Nbus challenge with this.

Thank you so much for your visit, and I do hope you can join this great challenge.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

YET ANOTHER CHRISTMAS SCENE CARD.

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Really plodding along with those Christmas scene cards, and I have just one left to make for my large Christmas order.
The one I have left to make is for her husband.

So onto yet another Christmas scene card made from the die cuts I bought on ebay.

This is a 5"x7"  size tent card.
This card was extremely difficult to get a nice photo of.
Just kept coming out really dark.
The side view looks a little lighter.
I cut a snippet of grey card to the size I wanted, and then I sprayed it with spray glue, and put Cosmic Shimmer Diamond Snow glitter all over it to back my scene on.
The ribbon is a TL one and is a grey with silver glitter running through it.

Thank you  so much for your visit, and your precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

MUM AND DAD POINSETTIA CHRISTMAS CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I do hope you are not getting fed up with my Christmas cards I am showing.

I am trundling through the Christmas cards I was asked to make for my Daughter's boss, and this is another one I have made for her Mum and Dad, and it also fits the bill for the current Allsorts Challenge.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I used 2 designer papers from the Dovecraft 12x12 Winter Blooms paper pad.
The doilies are from a cheap Chinese die.
The poinsettias are a TL die and I added some glamour dust to them.
Now I don't have a large tag die so I cut this one out by hand.

Thank you so much for your visit, and your precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges.

ANNIVERSARY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

It's very miserable in my part of Kent today all grey, and raining, and cold as well.
Won't be long till the leaves start falling of the trees.
My, summer came, and went in a flash or that's what it seems like or is it because we had a lovely June, and not such a nice July, and August.

Gosh I have managed to make a card for the Butterfly Challenge  as I think I may have missed a couple of the challenges.
This is a anniversary card I made for my youngest Son and his wife.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The heart paper came from a paper pad I bought at B&M for the grand price of £2.49.
The white card I embossed with the Sue Wilson's Heart Lattice embossing folder.
Added some ribbon and string bling.
The doily die, and the bow, and hearts die are cheap Chinese ones.
Silhouette butterfly dies are SB.
Stamped the sentiment with Faded Jeans DI.

Thank you so much for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

CHRISTMAS CARD IN SEPTEMBER

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.

I have had a rather large order for Christmas cards from my Daughter's boss who loves my cards, and always asks me to make special ones for her.
She bought quite few of the ones I left in the office after the fete had no idea who they were for, but loved them so much she just had to buy them.
So this week I have made a start on them, and this one.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
The winter village scene is one of quite a few different die cuts I bought from ebay.
Just put a snippet of card behind the houses, and then added stickles to the windows, and glitter to the trees, and the ground, and then framed it with another snippet  from a die cut.
The paper is from the MCS Wonderful in White CD.

Thank you so much for your visit, and your precious time as time is precious to all of us.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

ANOTHER MALE BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Looked after the Grand Children yesterday, and my Granddaughter goes back to school tomorrow, and her brother on Thursday.
We baked cakes as usual as they are keen little bakers, and must take after me.

Today I have a card I made for my stepdaughter's husband who loves his garden.
I don't know about you, but over the years I struggle to think of what to put on their cards every year for a change.
So this year it's a gardening theme.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The image is from the Hunkydory little book of decoupage.
The main papers are Graphic 45.
The Happy Birthday paper is a download from Cuddly Buddly Crafts, and is a snippet left over from another card, and some of the kraft card is snippets also, so I will be joining my playmates with this.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

MONOCHROME WEDDING CARD AND BOX

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.

I do hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

My neighbour asked me to make a wedding card for her recently, and as she didn't know the colour scheme of the wedding this is what I made.
I went back to an old design I created  a few years ago as it was a bit rushed, and I wasn't given much time to think up a new design.
Every design of this is always slightly different in any rate.

This is a 8"x8" size card, and box I made to fit it.
Now this didn't photograph well as the colour looks beige looking.
It was supposed to be white pearlised card from Crafters Companion, but it was more Ivory so how they can call it white I don't know.
I used the Sue Wilson Heart Lattice embossing folder.
The middle die with the sentiment is a cheap Chinese one.

Thank you so much for you visit and your precious time.
I really appreciate all you wonderful comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

QUICK CARDS FOR MEN

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I do hope you are all having a lovely weekend.

The weather here in my part of Kent is sunny at the moment.

Today I have 2 cards I made with some Kanban toppers that the lovely Mrs Duck gave me.
These cards are part of the ones sold in my Daughter's work place.

These are both 6"x6" in size.
The papers I used are from Graphic 45  6"x6" pad which gave you 3 of the same design, and are excellent for men's cards.
The toppers are Kanban.

Thank you so much for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
