MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES DT ........................FLOWERS

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Well I spoke too soon about  feeling better the last few days I have had a racking cough and it's  making me feel sick all the time just know it's going to start when I get a tickle in my throat nights are as bad too.
Now I have lost my voice from all the coughing
I tell you this is one nasty virus so big hugs to those suffering also.

So today it's the B Teams turn to start off 2018 first challenge of the year over at
The theme chosen by our lovely Beckie is Flowers.
You have until 6.00 PM on Wednesday the 17th of Jan to enter.
Please pop over to the blog to see the lovely creations that my fellow team friends have created.
So here is what I made for my DIL Birthday a bit of a quick card this one as her Birthday was on the 30th Dec, and I wasn't feeling like crafting at all.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I used some Hunkydory card stock and images to make this.
The lovely big butterfly was a present from my sister.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Hi Jenny, It's that time of year again when we all go down with the dreaded 'lurgy', I hope you are soon feeling much better, I know that lots of people are suffering with this at the moment, I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that I don't get it, I have tried this year not having the Flu injection as every year I am ill in December/January and it usually lasts ages so I thought I would try not having the injection and I'm keeping my fingers crossed haha.
Your card is beautiful and the butterfly is stunning.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Oh, Jenny, you can create better than anyone, even on your sick bed! This card for your DIL is magnificent! I'm sure she will treasure it!

I'm terribly sorry to hear that you have had a relapse. I pray that the coughing ends quickly as there is nothing worse to impact all the other parts of your body. You've had this long enough! Sending lots of warm squishing hugs and love!! Darnell

Sorry to hear that you're unwell, Jenny, hope you'll soon be fully recovered. This year seems to be worse than ever for coughs, colds and stomach bugs. Not many people appear to have avoided catching something. Gorgeous card, the butterfly is stunning! xx

Oh I AM sorry to hear you've had a bit of a relapse. I know about the night coughing, and that irritating throat tickle. My nights are always worse. I sip lots of water to keep my throat wet so I don't get the tickle so badly. Also can use one of my albuterol inhalers which sometimes will help (peppermint drops do too if you can take those). I love this card design and the happy colors. I especially like the way you've bejeweled the circle frame. Love the pretty pink garden of happy flower faces decorating the inside too.The hot pink jewels look so smashing with that wonderful butterfly. Love how you've carried that flower design throughout this pretty card. Great work for an under-the-weather crafter. Hope you will feel better real soon. TFS & Hugs.

That gorgeous butterfly is perfect for this pretty card.
We have the same flu as you, methinks. IT is a terribley nasty version. Al and I came down with it 24 hours apart, on Boxing Day. The cough is driving me crazy...no voice left here, either.
