RUDOLF DAYS CHALLENGE DT CARD FOR...... JANUARY 2023

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

Well here we are at the 25th of the month and time for the first of this years Rudolf Challenges over at

SCRAPPYMO'S BLOG

The challenge runs from today to the end of the month.

ONE ENTRY PER PERSON

but you may put mopre than one card on you post entry.

As always it's anything goes as long as it's Christmas.

There is always a lovely prize for the person who wins, and it gets your Christmas cards made early too.

Here is my cards for this moths DT.

The first card is a 7"x7" size card and the second card is a DL card.

The first card I stamped a wreath with Lavinia Stamps and used a red pen for the holly berries.

The sentiment was stamped with a Inkylicious Stamp.

The second card was made from snippets of card left over from other projects.

The images are from a Hunkydory book and backed on card stock then adhered to the glitter card.

I used a freebie stamp for the sentiment which came from the Stamping Magazine a couple of years ago.

The verse inside was from a book of Christmas verses from Katy Sue's book of verses.

Thank you for your visit and precious time.

I really appreciate every visit and wonderful comment you make.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Hi Jenny. Sorry for the mixup earlier. I have corrected my blog post. That's what I get for writing my post at 11:00 last night! Did not allow enough time for problem-solving!

Loving your pretty cards. That first one is beautiful! The wreath you made looks so good and the wee extras in the corners and on the envelope really finish it off nicely!

The second card lets the images pop off the page. That brilliant red glitter paper is perfect here.

Thanks so much for being such a great design team member!

Oh my word, it IS the 25th of the month already! This month as flown by!!! Love, love, love your wreath card Jenny. It's so pretty and full, loving all the winter greenery and pine cones! It is looking like Christmas here today, as snow is falling gently but will be turning to rain later. Then it won't look like Christmas. LOL Love the second card, the pictures on your slimline card are so fun!! Hope you are doing well my friend. Hugs, Brenda

Hopped over from Rudolph Days to see your lovely cards. That wreath card is fabulous! I'm always saying I'm going to finish the insides of my cards as I make them but I haven't yet :)

The pine cones are a lovely addition to the wreath card. I have managed to make 4 cards so far and even did the insides too. A job I always leave till November time. Hugs Mrs A.

Happy Rudolph Day to you too Jenny (I'm rolling in late as always!!)
I am in love with the pretty wreath you made - fabulous stamping! The DL card is lovely too and what a great idea to make the background from glitter card which makes it look really festive!

PS I understand EXACTLY how you would prefer not to put bird food out!! This might interest you: I don't put bird food out either but I have an ivy hedge round my garden which I leave to 'flower' in the winter and the little birds flock to that all winter long. They nest in it in the spring too. There are roses in my garden as well which I never spray and the birds feast on the aphids in spring! Vicky xx
