RUDOLF DAY AUGUST 2014

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.
I do hope you are having a good BH weekend,
and the weather has been kind to you.

Thank you kindly for all your comments on my
work, I very much appreciate every one.

Now today starts the August Rudolf challenge.
which runs from the 25th of the month to the
end of the month.
You need to make 2 Christmas Cards to join in.
I had a light bulb moment about 3 days before
this challenge, while sitting on the bed enjoying
my first cuppa of the morning.
My Son about 2 years ago bought me a Pandora
bracelet, and ever since my daughter and my
granddaughter have bought me a charm to go
on it.
So anyone who collects these knows you get a
lovely box inside a lovely bag.
Well I decided to use the bag to house 6 little
cards.
So here is my entry to the challenge.

The size of the cards is just under 5"x5"
I used a Poinsettia wooden stamp for the
background paper, and Fired Brick Distress
Ink.
I used Pine Needles Distress Ink to stamp
the Poinsettias, and coloured them in with the
Fired Brick Distress Ink and a brush.
The sentiment I'm sure you know is an LOTV
one.
I used some snippets from my snippets box to
stamp some of these.

Thank you again for your precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following
challenges.

GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Good evening dear blog friends and visitors.
I do hope you have all had a fabulous weekend.
The weather has been glorious today.
I helped a friend in my singing group sell raffle
tickets at her local fete today.

THANK YOU for all your wonderful comments
on my last creation.
I love to read each and everyone, and get your
feed back on my work.

Tonight I have a Golden Wedding Anniversary
card for my sister and her husband. Who will be
celebrating this in the middle of July.
I ran out of my Centura Snow White Pearl A3
card while making this, so I will have to wait for
my replenishment stock to arrive before I can make the box to match.

Now the inside.

This an 8x8 card.
Matted with gold vellum paper I bought a long
time ago, then I embossed the Centura Pearl
with my embossing folder that came with my
E- Bosser.
I embossed and cut 3 Special Touch Mask Doilies.
I die cut my Di-Namics Dizzy Doily 6 times
and cut it in half to go round the edges of the
other doily.
I die cut another Dizzy Doily for the front, and a
lacy circle for the sentiment.
I die cut 24 Marriane Creatables Corner 12 in
white and 12 in gold, and glued the white to
the gold so only the edges show gold.
The flowers are SB Anemone Die.
The foliage is SB Foliage 2.
Pearls and hearts from my stash.
Sorry this is so long winded an explanation of
how I built up this card.

Thank you again for your visit.
I do hope you all have a super Monday, and
manage to slot some craft into your day.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
