DARNELLS TWOFER CHALLENGE NO 9.........LEAVES

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Darnell has been running a
Twofer Challenge every month, and I did join in earlier in the year, but couldn't manage for a quite a few months, so I thought it was about time I tried to join in.
So I made time to make my Twofer cards this morning.

The challenge is to make 2 cards using the same stamps or die cuts for different occasions, and leaves is the challenge this month.
Here is my effort one is a 7"x7" in size, and the other is 5"x7" in size.
I started by spraying snippets of white card with Tattered Angels Mica sprays in Orange, Red, Yellow, and a Brown which are colours you find in Autumn Leaves.
When dry I stamped my leaves that came as a freebie last month with the Creative Stamping Magazine with Versafine Ink in my Misti.
The sentiments were also from the same set.
Then I set about designing my cards.
Sorry the photos don't show up the lovely mica look to the sprayed card it seems to have come out looking very dull.

Thank you for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate each visit and the wonderful comments.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges.

HUNKYDORY CARD KIT

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

I do hope you all having a fab weekend, and I hope our US blog friends are all safe from the weather they are having in some parts.

Today I have a card I made from a Hunkydory kit that came with one of the kits I bought a while ago.
Now there were 6 of these in the kit, and after making the first one I decided to make the rest in case I forgot how to make them later on.
Not sure what design they are, but they fold flat for postage, and are A5 in size.

I just added some extra butterflies, and pearls so all in all a quick card to make, but effective looking.
I think I made the 6 in just under an hour.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate every visit, and comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

My Design Team creation is the other Wedding Card and Box I mentioned I made for my Great Nephew.

This is a 8"x8" size card and box I made to fit it.
I made this one before the other one I showed a few weeks ago, and I was struggling finding the colour card I needed so edged the mat layer with ribbon so I had the right colour for my base colour.
I die cut my heart and then added ribbon all over it before placing under the heart aperture.
The organza flowers are from the works, and the leaf ribbon my sister sent me.
Please pop over to the challenge blog to see the wonderful DT creations my team mates have made.

ANOTHER RETIREMENT A4 SIZE CARD

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Thank you so much for all your good wishes on my DH health.

Was asked by my Daughter to make this card for the lady who works on the reception desk where she works as she was retiring.
She wanted and A4 size card so everyone who works there could sign it.
So this is what I made for her.

As I said this is an A4 size card made from A3 white card that was 300 GSM  in weight, and  it's from the Hunkydory A3 Pads of card which is wonderful to work with, and such good value as it's only £14.99 for the pad of 50 sheets.
Used Hunkydory card with a sequin finish for the main part.
The flowers and lace are from
The Works, and the Corner Die was a freebie in a craft magazine a few years back.
The image is Hunkydory also, and the inside is Hunkydory paper, and I used picture from their little books to make the A5 cards inside for people to write their wishes on.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate all your wonderful comments.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

WEDDING CARD AND BOX.........AND FINAL BLOG ANNIVERSARY PRIZE.

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Sorry I couldn't post this Monday or Tuesday as my DH hasn't been too well, and we have had to visit the hospital twice over the last few days.
A few more tests, and maybe another operation if the outcome is the same as it was a few years ago.

Well onto to my final winner of my Blog Anniversary prize of £15, and Tad-Dah the name drawn out is
Kate of Love Socks and Cards Blog.
Kate please email me with your preference of where you would like me to buy your voucher.

Now onto a wedding card and box made for my Sister, and Niece to give to my Great Nephew on his wedding.

This is a 8"x8" size card, and box I made to fit it.
I purchased the lovely embossed pearlised card to make this.
Now the bridesmaids were wearing Dark Coral dresses so this set me a task as I couldn't find card in that colour.
I tried out a few different inks to get the right colour I wanted, and finally used Worn Lipstick, and Fossilised Amber DOI to get this result, and go with the ribbon used on the box.
Decided to make a shaker design for a change.
Flowers are from WOC and inked with the same inks.
This is the one my Sister gave, and in a few weeks you will see the one my Niece gave them.

Thank you for your visit, and precious time,
It's always very much appreciated.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

RUDOLF DAYS CHALLENGE ....AUGUST 2018 DT CREATION.

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Sorry I haven't been about again lots going on in my life at the mo, and blogging is having to take a back seat for a while.

It's the 25th of the month again so soon, and time for the
RUDOLF DAYS CHALLENGE
The challenge runs from the 25th of the month to the end of the month, and as always it's anything goes as long as it's Christmas.
ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.
There is always a lovely prize on offer to the winner donated by the very generous Mo.
It's my turn for a DT creation this month so this is what I decided to make a word book of sorts.

I made this totally by hand cutting this out.
I had big No templates to use for the numbers.
The papers used were from a cheap Christmas paper pad from the works last year.
I made a slight mistake when cutting the books pages as I cut them at 5" high, and in hindsight they should have been 5.25" instead so the numbers fitted better.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES......DT TEXTURE

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

It's time for another fortnights challenge over at

Our lovely Hazel is your host for this challenge, and she would like to see Texture on your entries please.
The challenge runs till Wednesday the 29th of August and closes at 6PM.
We love to see your lovely, and varied entries, even though there is no prize only a chance to be in the top 3.
So here is what I made for my DT.
I bought a blank canvas ages ago to create something, and never got around to using it.
So I thought for this challenge it would be good to use it.

I painted the canvas with black gesso firstly, and then glued lots of different texture pieces to it.
There is a mixture of cardboard, leaves, crochet pieces, braid, flowers, stones, and wood on this, and then I painted it all with Starlight Paints, and then I used some bronze wax on top of it.

If you go over the the challenge blog you will see my fellow  B Team  very wonderful DT creations.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

MY BLOGS 6TH ANNIVERSARY THIS MONTH

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

It's my blogs 6th Anniversary this month, and I can hardly believe how quick that time has gone.
To think I set up my blog amazes me as when I did it I was fairly new to computers.
So to celebrate my blog anniversary I have put lots of my followers who regularly visit, and make comments in a hat, and hubby drew a name out for me the name drawn out was Kath from the blog Plain and Simple.
So I would like to buy her a voucher of £25 where ever she would like me to buy it for her.
I will be doing similar draws with different vouchers throughout the remaining month.
So Kath if you let me know where you would like me to buy your voucher.

In the meantime here is a card I made for my Son who is a big fan of biscuits.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The biscuit die is a Tattered Lace one that comes with a charisma download.
I printed it off on photographic paper.
I think the biscuits look quite real don't you.
Die cut the Happy Birthday 4 times, and glued together to make it stand out more.
The son letters were snippets of letters cut out previously for other projects.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I always appreciate your visit and wonderful comments.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

QUICK CARD MAKE.

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also welcome to anyone who just pops by to look at my work.

Internet behaving so far fingers crossed.
Today I have a quick card I made a while ago and haven't shown yet.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
The images are from a MCS CD.
All the work is done for you all you do is print it off and attach it to your colour matting.
Just added some pearls to the lace that is in the design, and decoupaged the flowers.
Luckily I had just the right colour card to use as my matting as I think it goes so well with it.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really do appreciate every visit, and wonderful comment.

RUDOLF DAYS.......FOR JULY IN AUGUST.

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also welcome to anyone who just pops by to look at my work.

Still having lots of Internet drop outs so I haven't been posting just in case I can't get to comment, but as the Rudolf Days Challenge is ending tonight, and touch wood the Internet is working at the moment so here is my entry into the challenge as July was not my month for my DT card.
The Challenge is running late this time because Maureen was on holiday.

So here is what I made a quick card made with lots of Snippets.

This card is a 6"x4" tent style card.
I recently made wedding cards, and boxes for my sister, and had lots of the pearlised snippets left over to make this card.
The image is from the Internet.
Edged the image with a blue sharpie pen.
Added some Crafters Companion Clear Sparkle Pen to the trees and snow, but it doesn't show in the photo.
Die cut a small poinsettia in the white pearlised card, and some snowflakes.
A quick and simple card to make.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate every visit and wonderful comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

POPPIES TAG

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also welcome to anyone who just pops by to look at my work.

We have been having Internet problems in my town it just kept dropping out, and you did not know when it was going to happen.
At first we thought it was just us till a engineer told us it was happening all over the town, and they were working on it.
Also not been too well hence my lack of posts.
I think it was the heat that got to me as I'm not good too good when it's too hot.

So this morning I had an idea for the Allsorts Challenge, and this is what I made.

The tag I cut out by hand out of a snippet of white card, and it measures 8"x4".
I sprayed my tag with Tattered Angels mica sprays in yellow, orange, and green.
Then I had drew the stems of the poppies.
The poppies were from a MCS CD, and I just added some red colour with a Sharpie pen and glued them on the stems.
I drew the grass with a green sharpie pen, and then cut my leaves out by hand from some snippets of green card, and glued them on too.
Finally I added some of Wendy's butterflies she makes, and some ribbon.
For the Butterfly Challenge I have used Ferrari Red, and flowers.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate each visit, and wonderful comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

40th BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also welcome to anyone who just pops by to look at my work.

I now have a black and blue little toe because I caught it in the supermarket trolley this week, and my did I see stars when I did it.
My Daughter said do you want to go to the hospital, but I think it's only sprained, and feeling slightly better now.
Still hobbling a little though.

Today I have a card I made for a colleague at my Daughter's works.
So hence the inside with lots of post cards for them all to sign.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The papers, and the image are all Hunkydory, and also the postcards I made out the Hunkydory little book.
Ran out of the yellow card so I had to do a verse tag with a snippet of cream card.
Butterflies made with a die I won on the Butterfly Challenge just drew around the die and cut out a blank base for the butterfly, and added some stamens for the antenna.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I always appreciate every visit, and wonderful comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES.............DT CARD ....WILD ANIMALS

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also welcome to anyone who just pops by to look at my work.

It's Thursday, and time for a new challenge over at
It's the B Teams turn again, and the lovely Debbie our new member of the B Team is hosting this challenge, and she would like to see Wild Animals on your entries please.
The Challenge runs from today till Wednesday 1st of August and closes at 6PM on that day.
No sponsors for the challenge, but we love to see what you create, and you could be picked as one of the top 3.
So here is what I made for my DT card.

This is a Z fold card I made.
I used the Sheena Douglas inking technique with Aqua Pens and glycerin for my background.
I used a paint brush with some of the same colour, and swiped it gently to create the clouds on the sun and sky.
This is the first time I have done this, and was so pleased with the result.
I had lots of disasters creating this firstly my Sun mask stuck to the scene, so I had to cover it with a punched out one, and lots of other bits I managed to make good.
The stamps used were a freebie from the Creative Stamping Magazine.
I stamped the Elephants with Black Archival Ink, and the Giraffes with Potting Soil Archival Ink, and then water coloured them with the Aqua Pens.
This didn't work well on the Elephants so I stamped them on some grey snippets of card.
The Giraffes were also stamped onto snippets of card then I fussy cut them out and applied them to the scene I created.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate every visit, and wonderful comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

WENDY'S F/BOOK SKETCH CHALLENGE CARD

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also welcome to anyone who just pops by to look at my work.

Here is a card I made for Wendy's sketch challenge on F/Book.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
I had been after the Appl Blossom card kit since seeing it advertised in my stamping magazine.
Hubby was having one of his no spend times so I was having to sit on my hands, and bite my nails as I really wanted this.
A good blog friend suggested buying in the supermarket with my shopping,
so he wouldn't know, but every time I looked there was none to be had.
Till last week I spotted one right at the back of a shelf.
So my card is my version of Wendy's sketch from the Apple Blossom kit.
Stamped the flowers with izink ink, and used a Crafters Companion glitter pen on them, and of course the butterflies are from Wendy our team leader.
The pale card is actually a very light peach card which looks cream in the photo, and is the other side of the orange card.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I am always so happy to read your lovely comments.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY

DIORAMA GARDEN CARD

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also welcome to anyone who just pops by to look at my work.

Yesterday, and today is much cooler in my part of Kent, so glad of that as I'm not good with too much heat it makes me so tired.

Today I have a Diorama card to show so I think this will come into the category for the Allsorts Challenge.

This card works out to be about 5.50"x 5.50" in size.
It was a kit from Hunkydory, and decoupaged under the acetate window.
I just added my tent style card to the back for somewhere to put your greetings.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I always appreciate each visit, and the wonderful comments you make.

This is a 7"x7" size card.

CASTLE RUINS ON THE HILL

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also a welcome to anyone who just pops by to look at my work.

Now at the beginning of the year I promised myself I would use more of my stamps as I subscribe to the Creative Stamping Magazine, and I get lots of stamps with each issue.
Last month I received the stamps I used in this card, and thought they would be excellent to use for the Allsorts Challenge this week.
So I created this scene card, and am very happy with how it turned out.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
Now I hope this fits the theme as I thought the little deer looked like a baby one.
Made a mistake as I should have stamped the deer first, and then masked it off to create the scene so I went with fussy cutting it out and adding after.
I inked dusted my sky and grass, but wasn't happy with the grass result so I water coloured it with inks and water.
I also water coloured the deer, and the tree too.
Stamped some clouds in white, and the flock of birds with London Fog Ink.
I used the London Fog for the castle ruins too.
Grasses were stamped with lots of different colour greens.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate each visit, and comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

MINI PHOTO ALBUM

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also welcome to anyone who just pops by to look at my work.

Today I thought I would show you a Mini Album I made for our Team Leader Wendy's Birthday in May.
I know she travels from Spain quite often to the UK to visit her family so I thought I would make her this Album to carry around her photos of her family.

The cover of this Album is 3.25"
and the pages are 3"
This is made out of 2 sheets of 12x12 paper which is more like light card stock.
You will find lots of tutorials on UTube for these.
The flower on the front is made from paper clay and I painted it with mica paints, and rubbed some silver wax on the edges.
I love making these little Albums they are so useful.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Every visit, and comment is very much appreciated.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

FOOTBALL CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also welcome to anyone who just pops by to look at my work.

Family have gone home now, and it's time for sorting out and washing bed linen used.
We always miss them so much after they go  and the bungalow feels empty again for a while.
They always bring their little dog with them too, and as I am very fond of dogs, and used to have them when I was much younger it's lovely.
Hubby is not too keen on dogs though.

As the footy is still on for a while I thought I would show you a card I made for my BIL for his Birthday.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The football image is from Craftsuprint.
I decoupaged the football in the net, and the football boots.
Just went with a lime green backing card to go with the image, and stamped Happy Birthday inside.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
It's very much appreciated .
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Hi, and a big welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also a big welcome to anyone who just pops by to look at my work.

I have family visiting  so sorry if I haven't been able to visit just managing to do my DT comments at the moment.
Just thought I would pop on , and explain why.
While here I thought I would show you the other wedding card I made for my sister to give her Granddaughter.

This is a 8"x8" size card, and box I made to fit it.
I used Tattered Lace Shabby offset Die for the large tag.
Meade a pocket for the tag to slot in.
The lace is from E Bay.
The organza flowers are from Hobbycraft.
The ivy is a die from Sheena Douglas.
Just sprayed the card with Tattered Angels spray to get the glitz and colour then inked through the die to get the veins of the leaf with Memento Northern Pine Ink.

Service will be back to normal on Sunday hope fully. LOL

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I always appreciate every visit.

RUDOLF DAYS CHALLENGE JUNE 2018......DT CARD

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also a welcome to anyone who just pops by to look at my work.

Sorry I haven't managed to visit this last couple of days after the mammoth task of the photo taking, and posting of my memory album I have been having trouble with the top of my spine, and this affects my right hand, and using my mouse.
I have tried to use my left, but I just can't seem to do that.

Well it's the 25th of the month, and time for the Rudolf Days Challenge over at Scrappymo's blog HERE
This month it's my turn for the DT card.
The challenge runs from the 25th of the month to the end of the month.
ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.
As always it's anything goes as long as it's Christmas.
Maureen offers a lovely prize to the winner too, and it all adds to your cards made for Christmas which is a good thing of course.
So onto my DT card which was a quickie this month because of my commitment to the Memory Album.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
The glitter card came from the pound shop, and the Christmas hats from The Works, the stamped sentiments were from a some stamps I bought from The Works quite a few years ago, and they were £1 for 9 stamps, and they are brilliant to use too.
What a bargain.
The stamps were stamped with memento Lady Bug ink.

As always thank you so much for your visit and precious time.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
