QUICK CHRISTMAS CARD

Spotted this and the little girl in the  animated picture looks just like my little Great Granddaughter Ellie, and I do love the Red Cardinal and the Owl as well.
Hi and welcome I have been quite rough with my terrible cold I have, which has exhausted my energy levels.
Last night I didn't get to sleep till
5 am  with coughing, and my RLS which was the worst I have had for a long time.
I am now totally behind with all my Christmas shopping and preparations since developing this cold.

Today I have a Quick Christmas card I made awhile back.

This is a 9"x6.5" in size I made.
The image is from Hunkydory.
I just love that wonderful image.

Thank you so much for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES DT CARD......................CHRISTMAS SCENES

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

It's time for Team B over at
and Jan is our lovely host this time around, and she would like to see Christmas Scenes on your entries.
The challenge runs from 8/12/16 to Wednesday 21/12/16 at 1PM, and then we have a Christmas Break till
January 2017.
This is all for perhaps a Top 3 or 5 badge, but we love to see your wonderful creations you make.
Please pop over to the challenge blog to see what my lovely Team mates created.

So here is what I made for my DT card.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The Christmas Scene came from a Hunkydory set I bought.
I used some Gold Rainbow Mirri card for my base and then added one of the scenes that came with the set.
I decoupaged the village scene.
Then added some ivy and white poinsettias.

Thank you so much for your visit, and time.😄
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

POINSETTIA TREE TABLE DECORATION

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
I have come down with a chest cold now I very rarely get colds so today I had a lazy day, and no apatite.

This fortnights challenge at the Frilly and Funkie is Home for the Holidays and some sort of decoration, but not a card.
So I remembered John Lockwood HERE making one of these Poinsettia Trees back in November 2013 so I thought I would have a go, I just wish I had looked at his video tutorial first as my cone shape would have been easier.

I started by using Starlight Paints to paint my card in Topaz and Diamond colours.
Now I didn't have any dowling I could use so rolled up some card and painted it.
I also didn't have a glass pot to put mine into so used a upturned yogurt pot  and sponge paint on that too.
The base is an old cheese box sponge painted as well.
The poinsettias are from a die I won at the Pixie's Snippets Playground.
So hopefully I can join the playground with this as I have used some snippets.

I hope you like my effort.
Thank you so much for your visit and the wonderful comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

SISTER'S 70th BIRTHDAY BOOK AND WRITING PAD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
I do hope you have had a good weekend.
As it's my sister's Birthday today I will be showing you what I made for her.
I bought a Hunkydory kit in the summer as my sister loves Art Deco.
Sorry there are load of pictures for this.

The book card is 8"x8" in size.
The lovely green shade of card came from Tattered Lace A4 Plus card.
As I said the the images are from Hunkydory.
With this set you also got this lovely writing pad and envelopes which I put together.
I thought my sister could put photos of her Birthday in the pockets inside where the tags are.

Thank you so much for you visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

OLDIE FOR FRIDAY BUT ON SATURDAY

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Two of my blog friends are having difficulty in commenting since blogger changed the Dashboard if any of you knows how to fix this can you please let me know and I will pass it on to them.

Time to share an Oldie for Friday with ERIKA HERE.
I know mine is on Saturday this week again, but time ran out on me yesterday I'll just have to hide his shoes next week. lol.
This is my version of a bag that Patricia of Summerhouse Crafts first
showed on her blog.
Sadly she doesn't seem to blogging anymore  as she made some very lovely creations.

This is made out 2 A4 pieces of card.
I used the largest of the SB Grand
 Scolloped Squares.
You  can put sweets in these or very small bath products.
They would also look better with double sided pattern card.

Thank you so much for you visit.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

CHRISTMAS CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Sorry I haven't been about much this week, but it's my sister's 70th Birthday on Sunday, and I was making some special creations to send to her in Wales.

On another note 2 of my blog friends are having troubles with commenting since blogger changed the Dashboard.
If anyone knows how to solve this please let me know so I can pass it on to them as I know quite a few of you are really good with such things.

Now I am a bit late again this week with my Allsorts Challenge card.
So here it is better late than never I suppose.

This is a 5"x7" size tent card.
The image is a Hunkydory one.
Just matted and layered it, and added some red and white twine round the edges.
A very quick card to make.

Thank you so much for your visit, and your precious time especially at this time of year.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I do hope you have all had a wonderful weekend.

Are any of you having trouble commenting on my blog as my dear blog friend has mentioned she an't comment on my blog since blogger changed.
If any of you are, please let me know through an email, and I will see if I can do anything about it.
My email address is on the top of my blog where it says contact me.

A couple of weeks ago I said I had to make cards for family well I was asked to make this card, and box by my DIL for her friends Grand Mother.
They call her Nanny Teapot so could I include a teapot and cup and saucer in the card.
Here is what I created, and the payment for the card went to
 Children in Need.

This is a 8"x8" size card and box I made to fit it.
I started by trying out something with Gilding Polish, and Pixie Powders.
I used Enchanted Gold Gilding Polish on white card, and then I sprinkled Pixie Powders Lava Red, and Rich Gold when it was dry I put it through an embossing folder.
The roses I made out of pink 160 gsm paper with gilding polish on it and put Glamour Dust on them.

Thank you for you visit and your wonderful comments.

OLDIE FOR FRIDAY ON SATURDAY

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Just a quick post from me today as I have family staying, but wanted to join Erika HERE.
With an Oldie for Friday, but on Saturday as I had my GD card to post yesterday.

This is a card set I made a few years ago with this stamp.

I stamped the backgrounds with Fired Brick DI and then inked the edges.
I stamped out the poinsettias and coloured them in with the same DI.
I also did the envelopes and the bag is an old Pandora one I up-cycled.
This made a very lovely little set for a present.

Thank you so much for your visit and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

GUEST DESIGN FOR THE LAST RUDOLF CHALLENGE OF THIS YEAR 2016

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Today starts the last Rudolf Challenge of this year.
I am a GD this month with 3 other lovely blog friends that are joining me in the GD spot.
The challenge runs from the 25th of the month to the end of the month over at Scappymo's blog HERE
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Maureen for all her hard work involved with this wonderful challenge, and also for having me as a GD for the latter part of the year.
I know this year has been a rather very busy one for her. for personal reasons, so to make the time to sort out all the work of the challenge just shows how dedicated to it she is.

Well onto my last GD card for this year.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I used my Graphic 45 papers from the 8"x8" and the 12"x12" Children's Hour paper pad.
I cut out all the wonderful elements you get with the paper pads and decoupaged them to the front of the card.
I also cut out some poinsettias with a Robert Addams Die which I won a few years ago on the Pixies Snippets Playground.

Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.   JENNY.

So if anyone is interested in joining our friendly team please say so in you comment, and I will contact Wendy or you can contact her through email which can be found on the Challenge Blog.
You only have to make one card or project a month out of your own crafty stash.

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
This is my 2nd post today as I suddenly remembered I hadn't joined in the Allsorts Challenge this week.
So this is what I made earlier.

This is a 7"x7" size card.
I embossed  some rainbow gold mirri card with a Crafters Companion embossing folder.
You make the tree by cutting out a
2" , 3", 4", 5", square and then fold it like tea bag folding.

Thank you for your visit.
I very much appreciate it as this time of year can be quite busy.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
I do hope you are having a good week.
Don't forget tomorrow is the start of the last Rudolf Challenge for this year, and I will be back with my GD card.

Today I have my last 2 tags as I expect you are getting very tired of them.

This tag I cut out of corrugated card.
I then glued kitchen towel to tag, and painted it with black gesso.
When it was dry I dabbed 166 Agean Starlight Paint to it.
I coloured my seam binding ribbon with the paint also.
Then I stamped my sentiment onto some snippets added a bow and a Father Christmas image to the bow.

This tag I also cut of the same card, and then I sprayed it with Tattered Angels Ink spray in Red,Green, Yellow, and Blue.
I added some ripped Christmas paper, and used Fired Brick DI to the edges.
I stamped my Christmas Tree in London Fog Ink and coloured the branches with a green marker, and then added some bling.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

MY 5th CHRISTMAS TAG

We are looking for 2 people to join our Design Team over at
MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES.
If anyone is interested in joining our friendly team please mention it in your comment.
You only have to create one project a month.

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Now I did tell you I was hooked on making tags, and as Loll's 12 Tags for Christmas is still open till Friday I just had to make another one.
So here is the design I came up with.

I started with black snippets card to make my tag shape.
I then covered the whole of the tag with Brilliance Moonlight White Pigment Embossing Ink, and then heat embossed it with Sea Foam White Embossing Powder.
This gave my tag a lovely texture.
I then put Gilding Polish Enchanted Gold on top, and polished it with a tissue.
Finally I stamped some lovely Fir Branches with Pine Needles DI.
Then I added my Hunkydory Snowman image, and a sentiment.
Lastly I dyed some seam binding ribbon with the same DI.

Thank you for your visit.
I love to hear what you think about my work.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
