OLIVIA OWL TRUG

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.

It's a very busy week for me this week I have quite a few Birthday cards to make, I am also hosting the challenge over at my DT blog, and I am GD at Rudolf Challenge again on the 25th of the month.
So if I get bogged down and don't visit you please excuse me, but I will try, and keep things going if I can.

Now as I do like to join in just a few challenges that I support, and that's not too many as I can't remember where I have been sometimes if I do too many.
I know I can hear you saying keep a record, but I tried that, and it didn't work.
So with that in mind I made this yesterday for the Allsorts Challenge of which I have been very lucky.

This was a Kit I won over at the Allsorts Challenge, and it's from
The Hobby House.
First time I have made one of these.
The dowling handle I painted with Starlight paint, and also the flowers too.
I made a small mistake on the milk cartons, and the holes for the string, but that was a learning curve.

Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.
They really do make my day.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges.

Nice to see someone using a prize that they won especially as we do not often see what was chosen as the prize from the Hobby House.
Very well done for your first make of one of these (not done one myself either) love the papers and the lovely shine on the flowers, lovely creation Jenny.
Thank you for joining our 'Anything but a card' challenge this week at Allsorts.

Way to go with your success at winning. And how wonderfully you've used the prize. This is just the cutest little lady owl, and what a beautiful box you've created for her to decorate. Love that you've got such happy colors for the little bags of goodies, and covering the box. And of course you've adorned it with some of your gorgeous flowers, which always pretty up everything you make (Distress inks smudged on your craft mat, wet with water, smoosh your paper through it, you'll get the same look as with brushos. You could dust in some of your pixie powders too if you wanted. It's fun and no 2 backgrounds ever look the same. ) TFS & Hugs

This is such a lovely and unique gift box. This style of box is my favourite. I have one at my front door that holds a mini rose, a pansy and an ivy (at the moment).

I think they look like mini tack kits for ponies so they always bring back fond memories of my daughters pony Club days!
